2 month old wants to sleep ALL the time now?! Anyone else?

I feel like my life is one big, "Is this normal?"  We have our 2 month visit today and I'm trying to figure out how to order my questions in terms of importance so that I can get to the most important stuff.

DD is just all over the place with her behavior. I honestly don't know what to think.  Lately she is sleeping ALL the time-way more than the 16ish hours I've read is normal.  Something I read online scared me about an Autism link.  When I try to put DD down on the mat she screams until I pick her up and then she sleeps immediately.  If I put her in the swing she sleeps.  The only time she's awake is to feed, get a diaper, or to fuss a bit.  She does smile when we have her on her changing pad, so I think that's probably good, but honestly, I just don't know if this is normal since all of the baby books seem to talk about increasing wakefulness.

Could it be a growth spurt? My little man did this during a growth spurt and it only lasted a couple days. He also wanted to eat every hour though. He is almost 3 months now and I haven't experienced this again. What was the autism link you found?

My daughter sleeps all day too but I'm not too worried about it. On her two month check up she was perfectly fine and healthy. One day this week she Slept from 12pm to 8 pm. She woke up to eat and went right back to sleep. My partner and I play with her when she awake, she laughs and tries to talk too.

I think it's normal! My LO has slept a ton since day 1. But he's hitting all his milestones and seems to be super smart because when he is awake he smiles and talks nonstop! But his sleeping hasn't really changed for the past month.. He'll be awake for like an hour after eating (if that) and then he'll go back down for another 2 hour nap. And then he sleeps from 10-4, eats, then sleeps from 4:30-8:30 again. He's sleeping a little more than usual right now but I think it's either a growth spurt or the change in environment since we went from Florida to Montana!
