My Great grandmothers name was grace, so I want a double name with either Gracie as the first name or grace as the second name. HELP; the last name is Bailey. Suggestions wanted
You could always name her grace and use Gracie as a nickname. That said I'm not a big fan of the rhyming so me personally would use Grace as the middle name. Unless you're not bothered by the rhyme
I think two syllables for the first name and maybe go traditional?
Anna Grace Mary Grace Emma Grace Sarah Grace Charlotte Grace
I would use Grace. You can call her Gracie as a nickname but after say age 10 I would want to have a name that didn't sound like I was 3. I prefer fn then mn vs a double first name but I will try...
Definitely Grace! My cousin is Grace, but we always called her Gracie as a child. Now she's 14 and prefers to go by Grace. I can't picture a grown adult named Gracie.
My DD is Grace Katherine. I personally hate Gracie and correct others (happens rarely) & list it on the "so not call" on her preschool forms.

I know somebody who named their cute baby girl Gracie.
And now she's a young woman called Gracie.
It's not good.
