Aside from random licks of ice pops, yogurt, or banana, I just fed Alice some carrots last night. We tried green beans first, but she made the ick face at them, lol. She'll be 6 months old next Tuesday. I kinda wanted to hold off longer, only because she's my last baby, and I'm not ready for her to not be a baby anymore! Buuut, she has been glaring at our food when we eat for the last few weeks, so I figure, why not?
Banana at 20 weeks, then sweet potato, pear and going to try avocado tonight. We don't buy baby food, just purée fresh stuff in our blender. And I always nurse her first then offer the food. So far, she's loved it! And really likes expiring holding the spoon. Haver your LO wear a bib!!
My little one has always been a big eater! We started weaning at 20 weeks now his 24 and loves food. Hungry baby milk and now food. I started with puréed Apple, pear and banana. Now he has baby porridge quite thick, jars of food, toast, fresh fruit, chips, cheese, and yoghurt, organics baby snacks he loves everything and my health visitor is really pleased with him x
