Missed Phone Call

On Monday my husband and I went in for our 22 week ultrasound. Afterwards we waited to speak with the doctor. He told us everything looked fine but he will look at the ultrasound scans more in depth over the next few days. I was taking a nap when my clinic called and I missed it. No voicemail. Now the office is closed and I am freaking out, worrying something is wrong. Could it be something as simple as them calling to say the scans were looked over by the doctor and he signed off on them? I am just one big ball of worry and I know I can't do anything about it now until tomorrow morning when I call back.

Our office calls to confirm test results regardless of the outcome. I know our tech can only do so much and it's really when the radiologist looks at your u/s that you'll get the results. If they need to do more pictures (they did with mine this time), they might call you back in. No big deal. Try not to worry

I don't know how your doctors are but mine can't leave information on a voicemail unless I have signed off on it. Most of the time they want to discuss the results even if everything is fine. Just try to relax until you can get a hold of the clinic later.

I know a lot of people say no news is good news, but my doctor will call to confirm everything is okay, and everything looks good. I wouldn't worry about it; they aren't aloud to leave your personal information on a voicemail unless you give them a signature.
