Baby boy name help

I need help with our little boys name... I am set on Francis as a middle name (after my grandpa) we toyed with a lot and have come down to Paul, Matthew or William as first names. Clearly we are very traditional. Lately my husband threw out the names Roland or Rowan for reasons I won't get into. But he really seems to like them and I'm just not sure... Opinions?

I love both Roland and Rowan. Both strong masculine names that are still fairly traditional but a little more edge and uniqueness. I think they both also pair well with Francis in the mn spot. Of the other three Matthew would be my pick. Roland Francis is my fav though.

I'm partial to William since we are using that as a first name if this one is a boy.  Of your DH's picks I prefer Roland over Rowan.

I think Matthew or William would work with Francis, however I'm partial to those names (DH first and middle name, and Matthew will be our sons middle name). I like Rowan better than Roland.

But Matthew Francis would also be nice.
