Free Baby Stuff

I get regular e-mails from Everyday Family.com and I got one for a free car seat canopy. I've also seen coupons for the same ones handed out at Motherhood or in the goody bags some stores give out when you register.

You can also score free baby leggings, nursing covers, breast pads, etc through their sister sites. Just thought I'd share.

The goody bag from motherhood also has a few samples in it as well. It has a ton of coupons but I was most excited about the diapers and wipes even though there is only a couple.

I was surprised at how good the Target registry goody bag was! I got a free bottle and pacifier. The Buy Buy Baby one was mostly disappointing.

Oh, the motherhood one had a nuk pacifier too! Totally forgot. Maybe I will have to check out Target. Apparently I am a sucker for free stuff!

I did almost all my registering online this time but I've scored some good stuff. My favorite was a box I got from
Amazon when I registered on there - formula sample (just one, just in case!), a bottle, shampoo and conditioner for me, a pacifier . . . It's so good to be able to try things free before you buy because you never know which bottle or paci will work best for your baby.

I had one when DS was using his infant carrier and I liked it. I sold it to a kid's consignment store and ordered a new one because I wanted something girly this time.

I got a free kit from Amazon too for making a registry. It had Burts Bees lotion and cleaner samples, aquaphor, a playtex drop ins bottle, a gerber formula sample, some rice cereal, some breast pads, wipes, and the best thing Everpure thickening shampoo samples, that has since become my new favorite shampoo.

@Knottie96391996 I ordered three car seat canopies recently. One was for me, and the other two are shower gifts for my cousin and my husband's cousin. I haven't used it yet because I'm a FTM, but they look to be well made. My other cousin has a cover for her car seat that is not the Car Seat Canopy, but I really like hers. I hope I like mine just as much.

A friend gave me coupons for the car seat canopy and I ordered one and got it faster than they said I would. I left them a good Google review. It seems really nice and I think it'll come in handy for me and the Minnesota winter. I read online that the nursing pillow was garbage and cheaply made. I heard the baby leggings are nice though. I'm probably going to order those next since destination maternitys bag came with free coupons for them. Edit- I work retail and totally pay attention to people's car seats and strollers now. A lot of people have the car seat canopy's and seem to love them.

That would make sense. I was wondering why I didn't get one either but I can't get amazon mom unless I pay more. (student prime membership)

My husband has the prime membership under the student rate and we have Amazon mom without having to pay more.

You had to sign up for Amazon mom and I think it might've been a special promotion.

Also, I have one of the free nursing covers from when I had DS, and I think it's really nice. I used it to cover up while pumping in my car more than nursing, but I could see using it to nurse. It's light and has boning material at the top/neck area that causes it to stand out so you can look down and see baby (or baby could get some air!). I've seen lots of other women using them (I know because I recognize the fabric). If you're going to BF and prefer being covered, I recommend it.

With the extra diaper discount on subscription orders I think Amazon mom is totally going to be worth the money for those that don't already have prime!

I posted a thread like this a couple weeks ago! Here's what I've found so far:

The Honest Co. has free sample bundles you can get for just $5.95 in shipping. They have 3 options - household/body care products, diapers and wipes, and vitamins. I got all three and they are pretty good sizes! I also did the Seventh Generation free sample and they gave me a HUGE thing of diapers and wipes for only $5.95 in shipping as well!!! ***Note, ordering the samples automatically enrolls you in their bundle programs but they send you an email to warn you before being charged so you can cancel in time if you don't want to enroll.

I registered at Target as well; I have gone twice to get my goodie bag and they are always out! I'm going today so hopefully I get lucky!!!

Target MAY send you coupons in the mail from time-to-time to get a free $20 gift card if you print out your registry and show them. I've gotten two such coupons. I say MAY though, because I don't know how often they do this or if it's region-specific.

@feeohhnaax7 if you know how you changed it without paying let me know. Everytime I try I get this message. That's awesome though definitely take advantage of it!

I'm (not) ashamed to admit that the Target here informed me that although they are supposed to track the registry bags, they don't. And they have been authorized to order as many as necessary. I talked to one lady about it and she said, "How many would you like?" I walked out with three bags.

I then felt a little guilty and gave one of my bags away to a friend who is expecting. Three just felt greedy.

Oh I totally need to go to Target to get a goody bag.  I registered online and didn't even think about going to the store for that.
