  • A lot of doctors and airlines don't even allow you to fly that close to your due date. I would double check with the airline and the doctor to be sure. Very risky timing in my opinion. Maybe do something closer to home where you can drive and still get to your doctor if something happens. Good luck! :)
  • I traveled 8hrs at 7months...if ur doctor says ur good...go for it. I never told the airline how far along i was. I went off of what the midwife said and 4hrs isn't that long. It depends on how confident and comfortable u are.
  • From what I have read, it sounds like up to 36 weeks is still appropriate for flying. Beyond that simple guideline, I know doctors go on a case by case basis. For instance, if you were having twins, that number would change. I was fine for travel at 32 weeks when I was pregnant with DD, but I didn't fly. I'm sure your doctor will give you resources for making that flight comfortable if you ask! I think the most frustrating/uncomfortable part at 32 weeks will be going through the airport. It's a lot of lugging around your items and walking for some people. My rib was pushed out of place around 32-33 weeks with DD, too, and that made even long car rides nearly unbearable. There are certainly things that might be uncomfortable at 32 weeks, but I don't think they'd stop you from going!
