Not Our Time

Well, unfortunately this pregnancy was not meant to be. A week ago Thursday, I had my first appointment. I had been having some pretty severe cramps in my low back. My doctor decided to do an ultrasound to be sure things were looking ok. During the ultrasound, they saw a gestational sac and two yolks sacs within but no fetal poles. They said not to worry and that my dates could be off. They had me come back in a week for another ultrasound. We went in on Thursday only to find out that there was no change. My last miscarriage was a blighted ovum. I was kind of shocked to find out about this third miscarriage. My symptoms were pretty prominent and still are. It's really frustrating. I have a D&C scheduled for this coming Thursday. I'm hoping to try again as soon as things get back to normal. I wish you ladies all the best of luck and a happy and healthy 9 months!
