my mother had a massive heart attack yesterday. At only 24 weeks pregnant, I had to remind myself to breathe as another premature baby is not what I want. Exhale.....
I'm sorry to hear this. Hopefully your mom is getting good care, and that you can focus on you as you support her. Eat lots of snacks and drink lots of water. She'll heal faster knowing she doesn't have to worry about you or the baby.
I'm very sorry about your mother, please take care of yourself. Rest when you need, stay hydrated and eating. That being said technically the amount of stress that would be very harmful is ongoing non stop stress, more like what would be in a third world country or in a very unsafe situation. If you feel very anxious or that it is having a serious effect on you, speak to your doctor about your concerns. Sometimes we have a lot of things to handle and it's ok to be overwhelmed and it's ok to reach out for help.
