We are staying with my in-laws this week and BIL who is 16 has a job at the local 6flags. We dropped him off and I said those workers look so young!!! MIL laughed and said that means you are getting old

when you are super busy in a house full of other peoples kids and they tell you the movie isn't working so instead of going to look at it you keep making their lunch and ask if they tried rewinding it and the 5 year old looks at you with pure confusion and says "whats rewind" yup definitely happened.... i dropped my head and went to fix it lol. I never felt so old

Lol my husband and I were just talking about VHS and movie rentals and how you would get in trouble for not rewinding them.

When you bail on a party, stay home and play crib on a Saturday night. Then opt to not start a movie (9pm) and just watch something that won't matter if you fall asleep on the couch while watching. And that was my weekend...

Middle school when you were in college (ie the kids in the church youth group when I was in college and volunteered as a youth leader) are old enough to be married and have kids.

Or when my grandmothers friend who had not seen me since I was 3 yrs old thinks I'm my mother when she was 33 !!!!!...long story lolzz You go to your kids school and their friends call you mam!!!!!!! When your students from your first years of teaching are old enough (and educated enough?!) to come back and be your colleague... They complain about students who aren't turning in work or showing up on time for class and I am all like, "I remember when you were young and..." It's so crazy!

I've had wide feet since infancy, but I used to be able to suffer through a few hours of wearing heels if I "needed" to look cute. Now, between being nearly geriatric at 33, having a toddler, and having had knee surgery for a torn meniscus, I live in flats. I own two pairs of heels and honestly can't remember the last time I wore either of them!

I have to be honest though, I'm a youngin' I just have an old soul. On the flip side, when my mother feels old becoming a granny, I remind her that her first grandbaby is coming before she turns 40. You're welcome mom.

It thrills my soul when I open the hall cupboard and see stacks of toilet paper and facial tissues and a few extra sticks of deodorant! If there's extra toothpaste in there too it's a straight up great day!

I'm only 20 but watching my baby sister turn 18 and graduate high school makes me feel old! And when you're excited for payday because that means you can buy groceries and gas.
