We are on the fence. It's our 3rd baby and we have both a boy and a girl, so we are trying to figure out if we should have this one be a surprise or not. We are thinking if we *do* decide to find out the gender, we are thinking of keeping it secret and possibly spilling the beans at Christmas.
We waited until delivery to find out with our DD. Now we go back and forth if we want to wait or not. I like the idea of Hubs announcing the sex instead of the doctor.

My husband and I are definitely waiting to find out, I've heard too many stories of people "finding out" only to give birth to the opposite of what the doctors have told them. This way as long as we have a healthy baby we'll be happy
@FlyingTrouble, my immediate family all lives within 10 miles of me, my grandparents are actually my closest neighbors! And my DH's family lives about half an hour away so they are all close enough that they can show up any time. I am hoping they all understand our reasoning, if we do have a long hospital stay I might change my mind but for now I want that time for the three of us to bond as a family. @ShannonA1983 my sorority sister had that happen, they went in for their ultrasound and were told they were having a girl and when they went in for the next ultrasound they were told it was a boy, after they had already painted the nursery, purchased a pink crib, and purchased a bunch of things for a girl!
Waited with our first, waiting with this one. I loved the anticipation and getting excited with everyone's guesses As much of a Type A planner I am, I don't buy into the "have to know, have to plan" mentality. The prep is essentially the exact same, and the small differences are worth the wait for one of life's most glorious surprises
We are definitely waiting till birth, this is my first and I just really want that amazing feeling at the end. My DH would like to find out he already has a son but I'm swaying him round to my way of thinking slowly but surely haha x
