Some of the BMB birth announcements are awful, I saw a Chassity, Kimberlyn, Kooper and a Ryker (girl). Yuck
I also recently saw (not a baby but met) a K'la (Kayla).
Worst baby names you have heard recently? Any you secretly wish you could use, but would never actually do that to your child?
Re: Recent terrible names
High school friend named hers Korah. ugh!
I knew someone who named their son Orangejello (or-rahj-ah-low). Dumb. Idiots!

Marlin- girl yes like the large fish
And I have seen these all going on girls- Wesley, Bradlea, Finn, a few Ryan, and Ryder
IRL I got a Kendall to join our family. It's wrong but I giggle inside each time my 5 year says it like Kindle. I do try to explain how to say it but it still comes out kindle.
Birth announcements in my Sunday paper this week:
girl -- Adelyn (sister of Addison, also a girl)
boy -- Ayden
girl -- Ellis (sister of Riley, also a girl)
boy -- Londyn (parents are Kaylan and Tyre)
boy -- Jamie (not James)
and last, but not least....
girl -- Addilynn Delanee Lexus-Ann
Rourke
And it's a girl
I have to say, while I can't stand names like that, names that are too out there or spelled "cutesy", I also can't stand old boring names that a million other people already have or that sound like you gave birth to a 90 year old. I want uniqueness to a point but not so that it comes off strange. Because that middle ground area is hard to find, there are only 2 to 3 girl and boy names I actually like. But I won't say them here. Lol
....I think it's hideous

Yeah, I shouldn't have put it in a "terrible name" thread. I really want to like it. It just sounds so harsh to me. And it means severe. The part I left out though is her middle name is Pierre...
Saw this gem on a suggestion board that I scrolled through today... pronounced Hayden. What?
