Hi ladies, I'm temping again since my last mc 8-9 weeks ago, and finding that my temp is lower than any other month that I've charted in the past. Only on cd5, but I'm charting between 97.0 & 96.8, which is lower than previous months. Could be I need a new thermometer? Definitely charting at the same time every month. I guess I'm worried this is a red flag already for this month...ugh. thanks to any and all that respond. I'm not sure how to link my chart from my phone.
When my thermometer battery was low, my temps were all over the place, so it's hard to say. I've read that low temps in the luteal phase can indicate low progesterone, but I haven't seen anything about extra low temps in the follicular phase. I wouldn't worry at this point. Fx for ovulation!

(age 39/40) 9/5/18 Diagnosed with diminished ovarian reserve (4-5 follicles, one ovary had none and was very atrophied) RE says the low egg count is likely causing my recurrent pregnancy loss. Less eggs results in more aneuploidy. BFP 9/24/18 • CP (age 40)
BFP 5/11/19 • Fraternal twins • MMC found at 10w5d (Baby A 6w, Baby B 10w) • Misoprostal at 11 weeks (age 41)
Those temps are not too low as far as indicating some medical issue (such as low thyroid). I actually had lower than usual temps last cycle and my 7dpo progesterone test showed I'd had a super strong ovulation so there's that. There are other things that can affect changing temps and I know that after a mc your hormones/body will do things a bit differently. It doesn't sound too worrisome at this stage. Fingers crossed for a good, strong ovulation this cycle!

My lows are regularly around that range, and my thyroid tested just fine.
Me- 39 (turning 40 in April), TTC for the first time ever (since Jan 2015), low ovarian reserve
Married 3/14/14 to my wonderful wife, but her sperm count is rather low
TTC with frozen donor sperm and science
7 IUIs, 7 BFNs. 2 IVF attempts, both cancelled and converted to IUI, both BFNs. Decided that my tired old ovaries are ready to retire. Next step- reciprocal IVF, using my wife's eggs, my uterus! fresh 5 day transfer (2 embryos) 4/17/17- BFP! Identical twins "due" 1/2/17 (but anticipated arrival sometime December)
Thank you so much for the responses. I recently had testing done, all indicatinf normal thyroid function. I think I'm just getting really anxious about this cycle already.
My lows are usually in the low/mid 96 range and my thyroid is also fine (on Synthroid). I think there are just so many things that can impact it and as @jilligan14 said, your hormones may be a bit wacky post-mc. I wouldn't write off the month yet! Good luck!

7/2013 - Sweet baby girl born (Clomid + TI)
3/2014 - TTC #2, return to RE 7/2014
12/2015: IVF #1 transferred two great looking embryos - BFP!
First ultrasound: TWO beautiful little heartbeats!!
Harmony: negative; level 2: babies look great and are boy/girl!
After 3 consecutive losses, I guess I didn't realize how low my confidence is right now. I really appreciate all the feedback and support. I feel like I'm in a time warp.
My temps tend to be low like that in the beginning.....i think you are ok. If you are concerned about anything after charting for a month you could call your dr. Im no charting pro as i have only been at it a few months.
My temps keep getting lower and lower. I think I need a new thermometer. I'm not even getting a temp past 97(something) any time of the day...so it's definitely odd to me. Still going to use opk's so it's fine. I know you're not supposed to switch bbt in the middle of a cycle, but I'm kind of a badass...so.....
