Hi mommies
So I found THE NAME for my second baby boy Evan Marcus, that goes with his brother Dean
Unfortunately my hub really doesn't like the name Evan -_-
The only name we agreed on a little was Kane, I have looked up the name and I found this
"A name of multiple identities: a somewhat soap-operatic single-syllable surname, a homonym for the biblical bad boy Cain, and, when found in Japan and Hawaii, it transforms into the two syllable KA-neh. Kane also has multiple meanings: in Welsh it's "beautiful," in Japanese, "golden," and in Hawaiian, "man of the Eastern sky." Over the last two years, it's dropped nearly 50 points to number 541. "
What concerns me a bit is that it might be a variation of Cain, the murderer of Abel, Im not religious of whatsoever but I don't want anybody to be offended or pick a bad name for my baby, what do you think? Any other suggestion for strong classic boys names?
Re: What are your thoughts of the baby boys name Kane ?

I think there are much better names to go with dean tbh
But spelt Kane... I think of Patrick Kane. Who may win himself another Stanley Cup soon. Go Hawks Go!
I still like Seth, Eric, Rhys to go with Dean
Have you considered Jude, Charles, Alexander, or using Marcus as fn?

PPs have made some great suggestions. Noah, Colin, Lucas/Luca, Gavin are all lovely suggestions
Or this guy I know named Khane who is super douchey. :P
OP, how about Owen? Similar cadence to Evan, your original preferred, and would pair well with Marcus as a middle name.
I think others gave some really great suggestions to go with Dean. Reed/Reid, Rhys, Graham, Thomas, Theodore, Sullivan, Eric

well, my son's name is Evan so I'm fairly biased
Really do love Evan.
I do agree that Dean Cain comes to mind when I hear the name. I saw that someone suggested Noah, I like that name as well.
It does also make me think of Dean Cain...
