I b having my baby girl at naval medical center portsmouth and I was wondering if they have doulas. Everytime I go for an appt I keep forgetting to ask about it. Thnxs

While I don't know NMCP, I've worked at another MTF and can answer this. Doulas are not medically licensed practitioners and therefore the military does not have them. In fact, no civilian hospital I have worked at has provided them either. Nor are they covered by insurance. They are hired and paid for on your own.
