2.  What nicknames to you use? (his full name is elijah) eli, li li, bobo, monkey

3.  Which one do you use most often?  Why? eli, it's a real name and the least embarassing of all of them

2.  What nicknames to you use? Luke (he's not a Lucas) we call Luker, and John is Big J

3.  Which one do you use most often?  Why? those are the only ones we have and I use them most of the time.

4.  Has your child been given a nickname by someone other and you and dh?  What was it?  Do you like it? my SIL calls Luke...Lukey.  It drives me nuts!

5.  Do you care if your child has this nickname for years to come? I don't care, but they might.

6.  In school do you prefer your child to be called my the full first name or a nickname of the real name? I think it should be what they want.  But at the same time I think the real name is better, because the nickname can stick even when you don't want it.

My SIL was dating a guy who's name was John but everyone called him Bubba....doesn't present a very good image.  But his parents called him that when he was little, and it stuck and in a small town, it's hard to get rid of that.

2.  What nicknames to you use? Paige we often call Paigey-poo, and sometimes I shorten Virginia to Ginia, and I call them both honey or honey bunches.

3.  Which one do you use most often?  Why? Paigey-poo we use a lot, but we don't have anything we call Virginia often other than Virginia Rose- her first and middle name

4.  Has your child been given a nickname by someone other and you and dh?  What was it?  Do you like it? My mom sometimes calls Virginia "Virginia Bear" which she actually picked up from me, but I've stopped calling her that and sometimes it annoys me that my mom still calls her that.

5.  Do you care if your child has this nickname for years to come? I really don't think they'll last.

6.  In school do you prefer your child to be called my the full first name or a nickname of the real name? Full first name.  We actually get asked this a lot with Virginia.  People ask if we call her Virginia or Ginny.  We call her Virginia and that's what we want everyone to call her.  Now, if she decides to go by Ginny when she's older, that's fine, but to me she'll always be Virginia.

 What was it? My aunt calls him Huddy

 Do you like it? NO, she adds "Y" onto everyone's name, it is annoying.

E, Emer (His intials are E M R) and then some silly ones, like Mr Stinky Pants.

E, because I like it and because there are not many shortened versions of Ethan

My sister calls him Ether. HATE IT! lol but that is fine. I call her son green bean and have since he was 3 months old.

When I was a baby until I was about 12 my nickname was Bobbi. I hated it! as soon as I could, I started fighting for people to call me Robin!

2.  What nicknames to you use? peanut, peanut-butter princess, googly; goo goo girlie; girlie-q; baby-love

3.  Which one do you use most often? peanut Why? right after they put her on me, I looked at her and said, "why you're just a peanut" since she was much smaller than all of us had expected

4.  Has your child been given a nickname by someone other and you and dh? my parents tried, but in the end "peanut" won What was it?  Do you like it?

5.  Do you care if your child has this nickname for years to come? it'll be something we use....I don't expect everyone to call her "peanut.

6.  In school do you prefer your child to be called my the full first name or a nickname of the real name? her full name...pretty hard to shorten Caroline
