So I just found out I was pregnant about a week ago and that following Monday I went to the obgyn and there test said I was pregnant also and then they gave me an ultrasound but she didn't really see anything what does that mean? I go back on the 12th for another ultrasound

It's pretty early, that's probably why. Try not to freak out, the 12th isn't too far away. Good luck!

At 4 weeks it's very much expected that they won't see much more then a thickening of your endometrium. I'm not really sure why your dr even did an ultrasound. I saw my doctor at 4 weeks he ordered blood work and told me to come back in 2-3 weeks for ultrasound. I go on the 12 as well.
Don't freak out! Not seeing anything right now is toy normal! Good luck on the 12

What pp said. They probably did an ultrasound just to make sure you weren't farther along.

My doctors office wouldn't schedule my ultrasound until 8weeks based on my LMP. They told me it's because you really can't see much if anything before that and it's pretty much pointless to try before that.

I agree with everyone else. That's super early for an ultrasound, and in my experience, they just cause worry. Hopefully the 12th will give you more confidence.
