Re: June 5th! DAILY SYMPTOMS

  • Oh wow, @virginiaunicorn11 you walk to the hospital?
That took me by surprise...guess it'll help things along further! Is it the wee hours of the morning there?!

Painful contractions but some are like 13 minutes apart... Others 8 minutes apart.... Really don't like playing the guessing game of when to call...ugh
  • I'm just feeling down today, don't know why
  • @virginiaunicorn11 good luck! I would also factor in with your discomfort it may take you at least half as long again to walk than to get a cab (is normal walking transit time 25 min, current pain level and stopping to bend over each time transit time now possibly 40 min). Just throwing that out there.
Omg! Good luck and wish you well!

My due date is this coming tuesday, and i noticed my baby dropped even lower. Dropped so low in fact hes given me thee most painful hemorrhoids. Ever. Cant even sleep more than maybe an hour or two. Does anyone know a good way to get rid of them fast?? Delivering him like this will make it 50 times worse but im not aloud to go to a surgeon. :(

  • @virginiaunicorn11 Good luck!! I'll be thinking of you and LO!
  • I just sprained my ankle (and beat up my knee and hand pretty good). So now I will have to deal with that trying to get around for my brothers wedding tomorrow in addition to just being fat and pregnant (and 40 weeks), so much for trying long walks to get labor moving on Sunday. Currently a very weepy pregnant lady :((
  • @virginiaunicorn11 sending you well wishes for an easy and smooth delivery! I'd take a taxi, because like @mellymar said they could get stronger the more you walk. Or can DH give you a ride in a wagon? Keep us posted!

I'm not sure there is anyway to get rid of them but Tucks pads (or just cotton pads soaked in witch hazel) are supposed to help. I've heard of some moms putting them in the fridge so they're cold to help reduce swelling.

My baby is so low that I started bleeding from an internal hemorrhoid that hadn't bothered me since 20 some weeks. :( you can use witch hazel and sponge it on them if they are external or get your doc to prescribe you proctofoam on Monday.

@SarahBaby87 did your power steering go out?! Ahhh. That's scAry.

@klkonwi My husband said that the breaks failed. Both front wheel bearings/hub assembly's, and breaks were completely shot when we got it towed home. I have no idea what any of that really means tho... I just know those are the parts I was sent to get at AutoZone while my husband was elbow deep in grease in our driveway. The car has been having issues before this... But I didn't expect something so scary to fail on it. :(
  • I haven't felt LO move yet today. It's freaking me out.

Did you ever go in? Or did LO start moving more? DS is usually a hyper little boy, but today he isn't moving as much. I'm currently lying down doing my second kick count of the day because he's just not as active and when he does move they're not as big as they usually are.
  • @bbnmama2012 a couple of weeks ago I had this happen, and called L&D. They had me come in right away and monitored baby for about 20 mins. All was well- baby started moving as soon as they put the monitor on and I felt like an idiot, but the nurses and my doc later said I did the right thing and said it happens all the time, and it's always better to be safe than sorry. Just in case you are debating, thought this might make you feel better about giving your doc or hospital a call
