The number one name I wish we could use is Valio. We're choosing Finnish names for our baby and Valio was the middle name of my grandfather. I LOVE how it sounds. Unfortunately, in the 1960s a dairy company was created in Finland called Valio. So now it's like naming your kid Oscar Meyer. There's nothing wrong with Oscar Meyer, but it makes you think of hot dogs. Valio makes every fin think of cheese and dairy products. Booooooooo!! Oh, and my grandfather's FIRST name was Oiva, which is now the name of a beer company. So his name is associated with beer and cheese. hahahahaha
DH wants Murphy if we have a boy next time, I said no. I wanted to use Reina forever, then named my boxer puppy when I had a hopeless moment that I'd never have kiddos that so I kinda messed that one up myself. Lol Although Reina Consuela is better suited for her anyway
@knottymomma I LOVE THE NAME PRUDENCE! I barely got it out of my mouth when my boyfriend shot it down. I have a couple Beatles names I want to use. Eleanor, Prudence, Jude, Harrison....one day..one day!
We are team green. My hubby has vetoed Maeve for a girl - I liked that last pregnancy too. He wasn't in favor of Jasper or Archer for a boy.
We both like Harrison - but do not want the nickname 'Harry'!
I love the name Harrison too, but our last name is Vick, so his nickname would be Harry Vick! No no no no no!! Bummer..
When we first started thinking about names, I constantly brought up Huckleberry as a joke. My husband would always groan at the displeasure this brought him. But, as weeks went on, I actually fell in love with it. Now I'm so sad that he still thinks it's a joke.
I LOVE the name Asher for a boy (and I am having a boy). My husband really hates it, so it's off the list. It's frustrating not to be able to name your child what you love .
i am having a boy and i remember even growing up as a little girl naming all my baby dolls ' Jayden ' I absolutely love this name as sooooo want to name my baby boy this! however, it just so happens my boyfriend has a son named Jayden from a previous relationship -__- ughhh.. so not fair! and no i am completely stuck as to what to name my little guy !
Another name I wish I could use is Stella. I've always loved the name, but last year I fostered a rescue lab puppy, and ended up naming her Stella. She went to her wonderful new home a few months ago, but I still don't think I can use the name. Dang it!
O'15 September Siggy Challenge -- Third Trimester Woes
My absolute favorite name for a boy is "Jackson" I love it so much I even toyed with the idea of "feminizing" it and using "Jaxon" for a girl.... Then I got married to my DH and his last name is Jackson so unless I want out baby boy to be Jackson Jackson, I guess it's out. Bummer!
