how many months am i?!

Is it me or is counting months confusing?! I'm 25 weeks today. But one app says I'm 6 months, the other says 5.5 months...what's right?!

I am 27 weeks so just 6 months. 28 weeks is the start of the 7th month.

You're in your sixth month, but you're 5.5 months. The easiest way to think about it is by looking at your due date like an anniversary. So if you're due on the 17th of September, June 17 is 6 months (at which point you begin your seventh month). I hope this helps and isn't more confusing!

I use this calendar, and so does my doctor. At 25 weeks you are in your sixth month, but you haven't been pregnant for 6 full months yet.

When people ask I tell them how many months I have been pregnant, not what month I'm in, because a lot of people are confused by that. So on the 16th I'll be 6 months pregnant, I've been saying "almost 6 months" all week at work.

Yeah it definitely can confuse people. I try to go by weeks, but people tend to ask how many months... I just started saying, "we're coming into our sixth month" haha!!

Honestly, I just round to whatever month is closer. For example, instead of saying "I'll be 6 months in, in a couple days" I'd just say "I'm 6 months." Especially if it's just some random at a store or something. I don't even go into detail at all.. I'm just too lazy and don't want to talk about my pregnancy to strangers more than I need to lol. Everyone close to me already knows when I'm due. If they ask because they don't want to do the math, I'm more precise "I'm 26 weeks and 3 days, I'll be starting my 7th month on Monday!" Etc.

You get credit for the month you haven't completed yet. I'm 27 weeks I just finished 6 months but I will say I'm 7 months pregnant for a whole month. As soon as I complete 7 months I'll be 8 month. I like to say now we're closer to end how many months left it helps people understand I think

I've been having this problem too haha I've said I'm 7 months. I'm 24 weeks haha I don't plan on going to my due date (My first was 9 says early and almost 9lbs haha ) so I just say I'm adjusting to an earlier due date haha makes me feel better.

Whatever. I switch it up. If I feel super fat and wanna hear a skinny arm and leg comment, I might go with a higher number
