What I always did to make things a little bit better was, to change rooms. So at night, be in your room in your pjs. Then change in the morning and move out of your room to the couch. That way you don't have to stare the same things all day.
Also if you are home during the day by yourself, have your spouse or someone make a cooler of snacks and drinks to keep next to you. That way you can limit the time you get up. Have things you like to do, such as books, and such. Hope that helps.
