Opinions of the name Lydia?

It's a fine name. I don't love or hate it it's just a little eh for me and I find the Lily and Lydia type names are a bit overdone. That being said I would take 1000 more little girls with those names vs the trendy made up ones.

I like Lydia. It is on a popularity uptick though, if that's something that bothers you.

I agree that it's so much better then the Haileys, Emersons and other surnames/masculine names people throw on girls now a days. 

Lydia is a very classic choice.

Love Lydia. If we were having a girl, we would have used the name Lydia. It is becoming more popular, but it is still not even close to the top 50.
