Bellybutton question

okay so my LO's Bellybutton looks like the picture on the left (I guess it's an outie?) but today while changing her diaper I noticed that when she cries it pops up and I noticed it looked kind of dark so I took a better look and her belly button can actually Pop all the way out and it looks like the picture on the right. Is this normal???

    Take her to her doctor, but it is actually not uncommon for babies to get herniated belly buttons. In most cases it's very benign and will fix itself in a month or so. There is a small chance that it gets worse, so keep an eye on it and have the doc look at it.

    Whatever you do, don't Google it. I promise you that it will scare the shit out of you unnecessarily.

    I think that last paragraph should be used as a disclaimer for every potential health-related issue posted on here! Lol
