Vomiting

My 4 week old vomits a lot of milk about once a week. I have noticed that during the feedings (exclusively breastfeeding) before he vomits, he wiggles and strains as if he has gas. I'm wondering if other moms are seeing this in their newborn as well... I'm worried about pyloric stenosis. It's alarming seeing your LO vomit so much milk! One month check up is in a few days! Thanks for your input!

Once a week shouldn't be a big deal. My dd spit up large amounts several times a day and dr said it was normal. But your doc is the only one who can tell you for sure when you go in for the appt.

Pyloric stenosis would be happening at every feeding. My son gets air bubbles in his tummy and if I don't burp him really well it will all come back up. His issues are daily, sometimes every feeding, and they just have him on Zantac. I'm sure once a week is nothing to worry about.

Hmm I'm in the same boat.. 31/2 week old first boy doing the same thing mass amounts of milk vomiting every few days... Dr said not to worry unless it gets worse over time, I went in today.
