Twin boys Austin 6lbs @ 4:59 and Alex 5lbs 13oz @ 4:50 born 7/23/015. 36 +4 weeks. Both boys born vaginally with no nicu time. Everyone came home Saturday!
William "Liam" Thomas was born on July 24 via emergency c-section at 36w6d due to preeclampsia. He was 7lb 14oz and 20 inches long. His birth was nothing I could've ever imagined or planned - but after a brief stay in the NICU and being cleared with a perfect bill of health, I'd say he looked pretty happy to be out of the womb. We are thankful to both be home and healthy.
Connor Michael was bon at 5:27 pm weighting 7 lbs 10 oz and 19.5" long via c section due to the cord being around his neck and his heart rate kept dropping. He's absolutely perfect and a great feeder/latcher already which has eased mommy's mind! We are completely smitten and in love!
Mr. John Wayne was born this morning August 3rd at 9am after just over 12 hours of labor and about an hour of pushing. Originally due aug 14th (11 days early) but still came out weighing 6lbs 12 oz which is a blessing considering this mama is just under the 5ft mark haha. Thought I was gonna be able to go the natural birth route, but I soon discovered that contractions are NO JOKE. I was in unbearable pain at just 2cm and immediately opted for the epidural.
Penelope Jane born 8/2 @ 2:13pm. Water broke earlier that morning at 1am. 7lbs 8.5oz and 19in. Had to wait until 8cm to get an epi because of my heprin shot the night before so everything was tougher than I could have imagined! Pushed for 78 min. So in love!
Yesterday we welcomed our beautiful daughter, Olivia Lorrain, after being team green for 41 weeks! She is happy, healthy and we are over the moon in love! :x
Elizabeth Anne was born quickly this afternoon with 1 good push, 6lbs 13oz. We are both doing perfectly. We are so lucky to have our 2 beautiful baby girls and will now adapt to being a family of 4 :x
Lorelai Tatum made her appearance at 11:51 Am on 8/4. Induction was supposed to start at 10pm on 8/3 but didn't until 1am on 8/4,they put a pill on my cervix. At 6:15 am pit was started. At 11:30 my water was broke and 21mins later and 2 pushes out came my beauty of 6lbs 8ozs and 19.1 inches long. For whatever reason my phone won't upload a picture but she's beyond beautiful. :x
Scarlett Marie was born 7/28 at 4:46 am. I was induced starting on 7/26 due to cholestasis. She was due 8/16. She weighed 6 lbs 14 oz and was 20 1/2 inches. She is perfect! We had been team green so now it is as if pink is taking over our lives!
Dilated 3cm when I got to the hospital on 8/2 but feeling no contractions. Started pit @ 11:30pm, water broke @ 4:35am.... then I definitely could feel the contractions (and they were no joke.... OUCH!). Got epidural @ 6:30am, started pushing @ 10:50am. No pain until crowning and bawled like a baby when I finally got to see his sweet face! I am head over heels in love with this little dude and am still shocked that I gave birth to a little human being!
Sorry, can't figure out how to attach a file via my phone!
I was originally due August 25, but due to a myomectomy I had 3 1/2 years ago I was needing a scheduled c/s at 39 weeks. This morning at my 37 week appointment my bp was very high, it had been normal all pregnancy, and I was contracting. My ob did not want me going into labor at all due to the scar tissue from the myo surgery. So I was admitted at 12:00pm and our sweet Sadie Grace made her appearance on 8/4 at 6:33pm, 7 lbs 5 oz and 19" long. Very similar stats to her big brother who came at 36w4d. He was 7lbs 1oz and 19 3/4" long.
Finally just getting on here to share my exciting news lol! We were team green and one week ago today, July 29th 2015 @ 9:50 pm, our gorgeous baby boy, Ryan Michael was born! Seven pounds, fifteen ounces & 21 inches of healthy, absolute perfection! Was originally due today but my water broke last Wednesday and because it had meconium in it I was induced. C-section followed that night after contractions stopped progressing at 8cm. We are completely enamoured by this little munchkin! Good luck August Mommies!! My phone, as many others would appear, is not cooperating....will post a pic later today from computer....but trust me, he's a cutie!!!
So my absence has not been for nothing! Nolan Kim made his arrival yesterday 8/4 (2 days early!) at 12:15. He was 6lbs 11oz and 21" long. He is in perfect health and well on his way to being a nursing champ! After inconsistant contractions Sunday night and all day Monday, my water broke getting up to pee at 1:15 am. Labor wasn't too bad, epidural really helped! Took 3 hours to push him out since his big head got stuck (mostly cause he was facing 2 instead of 6). Got myself a nice episiotomy but feeling pretty good today considering! Whole family is utterly infatuated. I have never felt love like this, totally mind blowing!
Miss Gracyn Olivia was due August 4th but decided to come a week early at 3:36 a.m. on July 28th. 6 lbs, 11 oz and 19.5" long and absolutely perfect. I love her so much I could cry just looking at her. I have also never loved DH so much. It's amazing watching your husband care for your child. :x
Amias Cesar was born 7/30 at 1:08am 8lbs 13.5 Oz and 22.5in long!
I went in for my 39 week check up and BP was high so they induced me! Got pit started at 10am then 29th, broke my water at 1pm. After letting my body do most the work it got to painful and I opted for an epi around 10 pm. I dilated from a 4 to a 8 within 10 minutes after that. The birthing center was so full they had to turn off my pit to slow down my labor so my doctor could deliver the 3 other women who were ready to push before me. Finally at 12am the 30th the nurse said it was time to push. After an hour of pushing they called in the doctor. His head came out but his right shoulder got stuck and it became a very scary scene with doctors and nurses on top of me trying to safely get him out. After one good push he was out. The nurses quickly checked him to make sure that he didnt have a broken shoulder. Luckily he didnt! He was absolutely perfect
Heis so perfect and worth every ache and pain I ever had while pregnant. Daddy and I couldn't be more in love
Alexander Gregory H. Born Tuesday August 4th at 39w1d. Was induced Monday related to failed BPP. Cytotek was started at 730 Monday night. After my second dose at 130am Tuesday I started contracting. Started epidural at 6am. Was checked at 7am and progressed to 4cm dilated from the 1cm 70%effaced I had been. At noon was checked again was 9cm and at 1 was complete! Started "practice pushing" and at 130 dr was called. I delivered a 7 lb 4 oz 20 in healthy baby at 139. I am a FTM had a great pregnancy and birth! (No tears for episiotomy! I love my little man!!!
Angelo Ignacio Moreno . Born 8/4 @ 6:40PM by induction . 5lbs 7oz 18inches long . :x Original due date 8/11.
As soon as I got a room about 11:30-12 , I was checked I came in at a 3-4 , went straight to pitocin at 12:30 literally felt nothing until about 5pm even after upping my dosage about 4 to five times. Started feeling slight pain but nothing serious that I couldn't brush off then 10 minutes later I felt a weird pain so I decided to get an epidural because I'm prone to fainting. Got the epidural which took about 25-30 minutes, realized I still had feeling in my pelvic and hip area since the epi hasn't made its way up yet since it takes about 15-20 minutes to fully kick in , called DH back to the room and 5 minutes of him sitting their I felt a pop (which hurt!) and it got worse from there , nurse was freaking out from the pain I was in (she didn't know my water broke because I was in too much pain to tell her) they called the anesthesiologist back to put some clear liquid in to help the pain asap, once he left the nurse checked me and she said "I know why your in so much pain you're past a 10 and baby is trying to have a birthday ! " they called my doctor and got things going , he was coming so fast a nurse almost had to give birth to him . So I pretty much felt everything since my epi didn't get to make it to my hip and pelvic area , good thing my vagina was able to get numb ! Lol and 4 sets of counting to 10 my LO was here ! Had him in under or about 20 minutes and only felt about a good handful of real contractions and no tears just a tiny "skid mark" which doesn't bother me or that I can feel at all . I'm still in awe that I'm a mom and this is MY child , but it's great and he's such a good baby ! Couldn't ask for anything better ! But labor is no joke I definitely give major props to the mommas who have more then one child !
Miss Lacie joined our little family on 8/3 at 39w2d. She was 7lbs 5oz. Completely med free with horrendous back labor. Roughly eight hours of total labor with two hours and forty minutes of pushing. Ended up needing a vacuum to get her out because she was crooked. I'll definitely opt for the epi if I decide to do this again!
Carrington Jo was born 8/4 at 37 weeks 4 days, induction due to Cholestasis. She was 5 lbs 5 oz 18 1/2 in and is doing well other than not eating real well yet. I was very happy to have my 2nd VBAC, started induction at 10:30am, they broke my water at 1, was still at 3 cm at 4:30, but went to a 9 by 7:30, and she was born at 8:22pm after 3 pushes! She is absolutely beautiful and her big brothers are so in love with her! Wish I could post a picture, but can't from my phone.
Nora June Miller, born August 4 (three days before DD) 7lbs 14.8oz, 20.5 inches long. She is perfect and beautiful, with so much hair!!
Induced due to Cholestasis, started at 6 am, contractions hit hard around 8:20 pm. I was so tired after the first hour, I was falling asleep between contractions! Thank goodness hubby was there to literally hold my head up, she was finally born at 11:26 pm.
Miss Emma Leigh Rose H was born today via semi-emergency cesarean at 12:05pm at 36w6d. She weighed in at 7lbs 5oz and 20" long. My placenta started to seperate and I was bleeding into my placenta which in turn led to her having bloody fluid in her lungs. They suctioned her lungs with a tube, and she was doing so well she came straight to recovery, not even going to the nursery!! My BP and BGL immediately leveled out after birth and I've been taken off all medications. We couldn't be happier!! She is moving leaps and bounds, having nursed 2 minutes into my arriving in recovery and already rolling on her side and lifting her head when the nurse was trying to clean her. Lol! We are 110% in love with her!!
My beautiful daughter June was born on August 4th at 39w5d, weighing 8 pounds. 13 hours of labor, 30 minutes of pushing. It was an amazing experience (thanks epi!!) feeling her come out of my body and I've been crying happy tears ever since!!! Love her so much my heart might explode!!
Kensington Elise Skipper Original due date: August 12th Born: August 5th (39 weeks) @ 0754 am Weight: 8lbs 7oz Length: 20 & 1/2 inches
Arrived at the hospital at 0530 for a scheduled repeat c-section. Took 6 sticks to get my spinal block in correctly but things moved super quick after that. She is doing great and in less than 24 hours has gained 3oz by breastfeeding.
There have been a few scarey moments like her blood sugar being too low after the first feeding. But we got that worked out. Then during the night I woke up to her choking on mucus. Luckily I heard her and was able to scoop her up and get her suction ed out.
Her daddy is so in awe of the love he now feels for both of us.
Praying you all have safe, easy, and healthy deliveries.
Harper Madileigh Jane was born via schedule c-section on 8-4 at exactly 39 weeks! She weighed 8lbs 3oz, 21 1/2 inches long. She's absolutely beautiful and completely healthy. Emmalyn Grace, graced us 5 days early via csection on 8/4 @ 655pm bc she apparently wanted to be breech and try and go butt first lol .

Melody Grace 8 lbs 12 oz 22 inches Due Date: August 4th Arrived only one date late!
Last Thursday I was 1cm dilated, 6 on the bishop scale. OB attempted a membrane sweep but it was difficult to get in there to do it well. Sunday and monday I had a lot of painless Braxton Hicks contractions.
Tuesday (my due date) i measured 3 and my OB did a really successful membrane sweep. There was a pop as the sac separated from the lining. Doc said she expected I would go into labor within 48 hours!
12 hours later I woke up with contractions 9 minutes apart at 3am. They started out crampy but quickly progressed to harder contractions an hour later at 4, and by 5 I was getting full blown intense back labor (ugh not again!). The pain was worse and coming faster than my first time! I could barely walk to the car.
Got to the hospital around 6:30. Measured 3.5cm. They gave me the option to walk around or rest. I didn't think I could walk so I stayed in the bed and had a bunch of really hard contractions. Very quickly I progressed to a 5.
Got my epidural at 8:30. Felt SO much better. Doc broke my water at 9am. Relaxed and enjoyed a popsicle and peppermints (they were out of gummi bears) on a liquid diet. Had a bunch of blood drawn. Told my dad to delete his Facebook post about me being in labor so we don't get unexpected visitors or burglars. Seriously.
9:00 doc broke my water 11:30 I was around 7 cm 1:40 check: 8-9 cm 2:43 check: 9-10cm, -1 position 4:40 started Pitocin At 6:30 we started pushing with the contractions. Melody arrived at 6:41 pM. She has a ton of hair and we are both doing well!
