Bradford Jay was born on Aug 5, weighing 8 lbs, 9 oz. After 21 hours of labor, doc decided his noggin was too big and called a c section. Husband and I are so in love!
Everly Mae is finally here! Born August 10th @8:02 8lbs. 6oz. 21 1/2 in. long. 4 1/2 hours of labor and 3 pushes and she was here! I feel amazing and so in awe of my little girl!
Ava Naomi born AUGUST 12th 2015 at 5:20pm PST weighing 8.5 lbs and measuring 20 1/2 inches her EDD was 08/13/15 baby girl was a few hours early. Delivered naturally with no meds. I was anemic the entire pregnancy and unfortunately lost too much blood and had to get blood transfusions. We were finally discharged today
Reagan Kathryn was born August 13 at 6:25pm weighing 8 lbs 9oz and 21 inches long. She was originally due August 5th but joined us on the 13th via surprise c-section after 18 hours of labor. We had a few minor complications (I had a fever and she had to be on oxygen for 6 hours after birth, etc) but we are home today and getting adjusted. I'm in love and still in such shock that she is mine. Holy cow, I'm a mommy!!!
Welcome to my tiny love, Claire Evelyn. Born by c section on 8/16 8lb 1oz and 19.6 inches long.
Was induced at 0700 and had great, strong contractions by 1600 but just couldn't dilate due to the scar tissue. Doc ripped it and got me to 6cm but baby just wouldn't come down.
C section was not as easy as everyone says! They ended up having to knock me out. Very sad not to have had immediate skin to skin but we're making up for it now.
So I left work at about 415. Went home and took a nap until 630. This turned out to be the part of maternity leave sans baby. So much for my week of relaxation. So labor started at 630 and went to the hospital at 845 5cm dialated 100% effaced. Admitted. got my epidural at 915. 1:45 I was fully dilated. Labored down for an hour. Started pushing at 2:45 and Sophia Hope entered this world at 3:23 am 8/17. Counld not be more in love.
A little late, but team green turned team pink when we welcomed Genevieve Rose into our family on 8/11 at 8:09am. She was 8lbs 13.4oz and 22 inches long! I was 40w2d.
I was going about my day Monday morning when I started seeing spots. Didn't think anything of it until I got a headache about an hour later. Checked my BP and had 2 high readings. Called doctor right away since I developed pre-e with my first and was told to come right in. NST looked good and BP had come down but I had protein in my urine so they sent me over to l&d just to run some additional tests. I was checked before heading over and was still completely closed. Everything was looking good at l&d and they couldn't decide if they should induce that night or not. Finally decided to admit me. I was monitored for a bit and was having too many contractions at that time for them to give me miso so they let me eat and walk around. Contractions stopped so I was monitored again and just after midnight was given my first dose. Cervix was still closed. After two hours i was allowed to get out of bed and eat again. A half hour before next scheduled dose I was monitored again and contractions really started. I was checked at 4am and at a 3 so they just decided to wait and watch. Was offered drugs but declined. Checked again at 5:30 and only at a 3.5. Contractions were strong and I asked for some meds. Was offered an epi but I didn't want to get it too early so I was given stadol to take the edge off. Was able to get some rest. By the time it was wearing off an hour later I was screaming for the epidural! I also felt like I was ready to push! I was at an 8 and they were pumping me full of fluids as fast as they could. Half hour later I was telling them I needed to push so i was checked again and ready to go! 10-15 minutes of pushing and the anesthesiologist finally showed up! The nurses told him he was no longer needed as I was begging him to come back! My doctor wasn't even there! 20 minutes before Genevieve was born he called and told everyone to tell me not to push, he was on his way. They laughed at him and told him there was no way they were going to stop me! He made it 10 minutes before she was born! I had no plans of giving birth without an epi but can now say I did it!
Big brother loves his new sister and has been amazing so far. DH and I couldn't be happier with our new family of 4! Best of luck to all the other moms still waiting for their LOs to arrive.
Our sweet baby girl was born on aug 1st after a 40 hour induction. It was a long 40 hours, but after I finally progressed I pushed her out in 15 min. The delivery part was amazing, calm and peaceful (thank you epidural!). I haven't been able to be on the bump since she was born. It's been a long couple of weeks. Our first day home she was admitted to pediatrics for jaundice and we have been having trouble nursing. I think I may be dealing with some post partum depression as well. I have an appointment with my doctor for that. I just that I should finally make my announcement. I'm weird about posting pictures on the internet, but she is absolutely beautiful and we are so in love.
After a 23 hour labor due to induction (high BP issues) Stanley Jay was born at 11:53pm on August 10th. He is 20.5 inches long and 7.4 lbs of perfection.
Estella Catherine joined our family via repeat Csection at 2:37 today. She is 7lb 13oz & 20in. She is exactly the same height and weight as big brother was!

After going into L&D at 5p Friday night to be induced, Brigid Ann finally made her grand arrival today at 8:12 am. A round of cervadil, 2 rounds of miso, 2 rounds of pitocin, breaking membranes, and another round of pitocin, she finally decided to come into the world after an hour of pushing. team green no more!
Induced last night at 8pm and started pushing at 2:40 today. Born at 3:32. The hardest thing I've ever done in my life. Had to wear an oxygen mask as she didn't love the birth canal. Momma was in rough shape after, crying mess, passed a large clot, lots of blood. But I'm slowly feeling better. Hadn't had food in 24 hrs. Tomorrow they will take blood to see what the next step is (if any). Bp is back to normal (was quite low for a bit).
Holly Elise was born on 8/3/2015. 8 pounds, 19.75 inches long.
My water broke at 140 in the morning, she was born at 1016pm. Only pushed for a half hour, and honestly the pushing was the only painful part since I had an epidural all day. Her heart rate had plummeted so I had to push fast, ended up with an episiotomy, and thankfully no other tearing! I actually was up and walking the next day like normal and never needed a wheelchair! No postpartum pain at all!
I can't figure out how to attach an image right now...but I could just be in zombie mode.
Lily was born on August 11 at 10:49am, weighing 6 pounds 15 ounces and 20 inches long. My water broke at 2:30am right on her due date. Ended up getting the epideral at 5cm when the pain was getting unbareable and within 2 hours I was at 10 and ready to push. One hour later our little princess was born. I had a pretty quick labor considering this is my first baby with not many signs it's coming beforehand so I am pretty happy but did have 2nd degree tarring. She's all worth it.
Brennan Victor Kingston is here! 21 inches and 7 lbs 7oz of hunk of burning love! Started induction bc of GD and gestational hypertension Sunday 9pm. Active labor started at 830am. Officially Born at 839pm 8/17/15!
We are doing well, breastfeeding is going pretty good, and loving the little Gentleman!
My beautiful son Leonardo Joshua was born on 1st aug after a 15 hour long back labour which resulted in ventouse delivery at 1.21pm weighing 7 llbs 7oz. I could not be happier xxx
Lexie Ann born 8/17 at 4:02pm. 8lbs 7oz l; 20.5 inches long via Cesarean after trying to push for 2 hours. Baby's heart rate kept dropping, she was sunny side up, and her head was coming at a bad angle so we were directed to C-section. She's doing beautifully. I'm so in love!!!
Scheduled my induction Thursday afternoon (41w1d) for Friday night... My water broke at 10:45 that Thursday night and at 8:50 am Friday 8/14 morning our lives changed forever when Bryce Mark was born weighing 8lbs 7oz and measuring 21.25" long.
Started having irregular contractions Friday night, and through the day Saturday. Contractions became regular and progressing around 2am Sunday. Headed to the hospital around 7am. She was born at 2:30 after 1 hour of pushing in a med-free birth. It was intense but we made it!
7lbs 1 oz, 20 inches, and the most beautiful angel I've ever seen.
Finally had my son who we named August this morning at 4:27 am, he weighed in at 8 pounds. So happy he's completely heathly and I was able to deliver exactly how I wanted according to my birth plan. Since I was 11 days overdue I almost couldn't deliver in the birth center but thankfully he arrived the day before my induction. My waters broke but the hospital sent me home on the basis that my contractions weren't strong enough or close enough. 2 hours later I thought screw this so I went into the hospital totally hysterical apprerently I was only 2 centimetres dialted but they took pity on me. Thank goodness I did because 3 hours later when they went to check on me and tell me to go home again it turned out I was fully dilated! I gave birth half an hour later with zero pain relief to boot :x no idea how I managed that tbh. All 3 of us are already safe and sound at home Xoxo
Update: She finally has a name! Madison Anne came home today, she is 6 lbs 2 oz, down about 7% but still within the normal range. We had liked the name Madison during the whole pregnancy but then decided we were going to name her Morgan Elizabeth...well, when her big brother came to visit and DH asked, "Do you know what your sister's name is?" he got all excited and yelled, "Madison!" then when DH told him we were naming her Morgan he got all upset and said, "No, it's Madison, it is supposed to be Madison." It melted our hearts and we decided after another day that he was right, she was Madison. DS is so in love with his new baby sister. Congrats to all of you other Mamas who have had your babies too and can't wait to see the rest of the announcements come in .
I Eden Savannah Grace born August 8, 8:15am, 6lbs 3oz born at home after a crazy adventure! Water broke 930 Friday night and was told to go see midwife at the office. Then we headed to the hospital for a stress test till 230am and I was told I wasn't able to have my home birth as I was a day too early as I wasn't 37 weeks until Sunday. The midwife, OB and head nurse sent me home to sleep and return at 930am as I wasn't dialated and didn't have contractions ... Guess she wanted a home birth too as she suddenly started making her way out at 740 when I was in shower. My husband and Mom took care of me and the midwife made it to us at 810 to help as she was born at 815 in my grandparents original bed set in a house built in 1865, pulled from me by my Mom and my husband held me and then got to cut the cord. (Have to note that man amazes me and I'm soooo lucky to have such a strong husband who stepped up to do ANYTHING he had to to help me get through that safely. It was insane, fast, scary, painful and the most primal experience of my life but soooo worth it! Love being a first time Mom at 34 and Eden and I are loving our country life and our crazy birth story that is being used as the example of unexpected by the nurses and midwives. Happy, healthy and a whole new type of tired! But oh sooooo in love!
My little Hope arrived this morning after a quick med-free labour and delivery. She weighs in at 7lbs 7oz (my biggest baby) and is 20 inches long. I went to the gym this morning around 6:30 am and after 12 weighted squats, I knew I just didn't feel right. I went home and finished my workout downstairs. By 7:45 am I knew baby was going to show up sometime today so H called work and I called my mom to watch the girls. Long story short though, she arrived healthy, squirming, and screaming at 11:05 am (39+4) with no complications! VBAC # 3 praise God! She is nursing like a champ and just gave me a wonderful nap. Thank you so much ladies for the support and encouragement this entire pregnancy. I will update with pics when we get home
Jeremiah Cordaro Nelson is here! I had two contractions and then my water broke @5pm Sunday night. Got to the hospital around 6pm. And since I'm strep B positive had to go right in to get penislin(which hurts going in) the women who did my IV in my hand hurt me so bad. I alway use to say I wish my water would break so I'd know it was the real thing. And now that I have experienced it. I change my mind lol. I didn't stop leaking until after our son was out. Got epidural around 10:30pm. I was so scared to get it. And the Dr kicked my BF out and mom while he was doing it. I was squeezing my nurse who I LOVED so much I apologized if i hurt her arm. Once I had it and it was kicking in, it was amazing! I really couldn't feel anything from my belly down. My BF,mom n I tried to get some sleep. But no one really did. As soon as I fell asleep for a minute I was awoken by a nurse for something. Around 4:30-5am I started feeling pressure and started to push around then. The epidural wore off a great deal. I tried pushing in all sorts of different positions.. Two hours LONG of pushing and my boy was finally out! Our boy was born on August 17 @7:00am weighing 7lbs even 20inch long. (7lb@7am on the 17th-- I guess 7 is our lucky number now!) of course we're totally over the moon in love with him n so happy. Breast feeding has been challenging but I'm sticking with it!
Good luck to all the new mommys and soon to be new mommy to be, and the new again mommys to be(stm+)
I'm so happy I got to know you all and go threw this with you ladies!
Baby Jasper Mathew arrived yesterday afternoon 18/8/15 at 1.50pm after a morning of mild to moderate contractions and a two hour active labour. It was so fast and furious I didn't have any medication, intervention or even my doctor present! Jasper weighed in at 3.3 kg (7lb 6oz). His big sister was most excited to meet him last night!
Baby boy Griffin Douglas was born 8/18 at 11:13 am , weighing 6lbs 13oz ,21" .
I was admitted Monday at 6:30pm for induction. Cervix softener was given at 10:30pm. Started having regular contractions around 3am. Pitocin was givin at 7am got epidural at the same time and started pushing at 10:50 baby was born 23 min. later. No tears just a little sore. Griffin is a breastfeeding champ and we are so in love !!!!
My birthing story in a nutshell: aug. 17 (due sept. 1) My water broke at 3:30am, I got to the hospital at 4:30 already 7cm dialated. Had an epidural placed at 5:30-6:00 when I was 9cm. Got to 10cm quickly after and got the okay from doc to start pushing. Pushed for 5 hours with little progress (got to station 3, but he kept going back to 2). Tried vacuum suction 3 times with no success. Ended up with a c-section and baby Kai Michael was born at 1:11pm, august 17, 21 inches long and 8lb 7oz. Pics to come soon. So in love
Sawyer Daniel was born 8/18 via unplanned C-section after 24+ hours of labor. Poor little guy was stuck. He is 7lbs 0oz and 20 inches of perfection. We are both doing extremely well. He's slowly getting the hang of breastfeeding and he loves his daddy's voice more than anything.
Adeline Hope. She had a much different labor than her brother did two years ago! Contractions 5mins apart on 8/18 at 6pm. Went to the hospital at 9. Dilated to a 4. Checked again at 1 and was only a 5 so I asked for an epidural. At 415 I was ready to push but my dr was in the OR so we waited till 4:50 she was born at 5:15am! 39w and 1d. Sunny side up too. Small episiotomy . But all is good. We are on cloud 9 and can't wait for her big brother to meet her .
Ruby Caroline was born at 5:52pm on Friday, August 7th. She weighed 8lbs even and was 21 inches long. My EDD was 8/13 but I was induced due to Gestational Diabetes. I spent nearly 48 hours on Pitocin. I was hoping to go med free but, by the time they broke my water, I was asking for an epidural. And it was wonderful I would do it again!
This picture was taken the day after she was born.
Welcome Miss Bianca Katherine! Natural birth without medication. She helped kick her way out with her strong legs. Only 12 hours of labor & now breastfeeding. What a big first day. 8-19, 7 lb 7 oz, 19.5 inches long. DH & I are in love.

Neeva Jeanette, born 8/17 after 14 hrs of labor including 2hrs of active labor I was scheduled to be induced 8/18 but my sweet girl came on her own! Mild contractions started around 4 am, headed to hospital at 7 am water was ruptured at 4:30 ish pm and Neeva was born with one push at 6:20 pm! She is beautiful and perfect and her two big brothers are in love!
Vivian R. Lynch arrived this morning at 5:38. I was induced at 11am (pushed back from midnight). I couldn't feel my contractions until about 7:30pm and then suddenly everything took off. I was given the epidural at midnight and my water was broken. When I woke up 3 hours later i was checked and my midwife had me rest a bit. I pushed for an hour and a half and my baby girl was born! We love her so much and watching my H do skin to skin made my heart explode. She is a great BFer and such a snuggly little thing. I'm mildly sore and have a few stitches but mostly I feel good.
Alice Athena was born today 8/19 at 4:51 pm. 7 lbs 10 oz and 20 inches long. Med free labor and delivery, my husband helped me through so much. It was rough but we're so happy she's here! DS loves his little sister!
Marcus Gabriel arrived on 8/19 at 2:38 pm via a successful VBAC. He is 7lbs 12 oz and 20.5 in long. He is adorable, nurses like a pro already, has hardly cried, and has already infatuated DD, DH and myself!
