What do you guys think about cloth diapers? How many are considering them?

I would love to use them with my child. FTM here. I was a cloth diaper baby due to allergies. I think it's just smart to do the same with my child.

I plan on using the bum genius free time AIO. I'll add an extra soaker if needed but they seem pretty straight forward and not terribly complicated. I have a special mini washer that I'll use just for diapers.

I tried three different types with my first and they just did not work for us (lots of leaks). It was really disappointing. I'd love to use them and save all that money on disposables.

I am! Several of my friends used them and LOVED them. Their kids also had an easier time potty training.

For the first couple months I'm planning on using a local diaper service. It's about $14-18 per week depending on the number diapers.

I wanted to use them, but my husband is AD army and will be deploying right after baby is born. So with it being just me, I decided to wait on them and use disposables.

I like the idea of cloth diapers but disposable works best for me.

We did CD with my son and will do it again. It wasn't a big deal at all.
