I have a 2 and a half year old and he has been weaned for about 8 months. We were not ready but did due to the pain nursing was causing me. He still touches them for comfort before bed to help him go to sleep.

My step daughter has seen this and has started to ask to do it as well. My boyfriend has taken to asking my to not let my son touch me in front of her and maybe to make him stop. I don't want to do either since I don't feel my son is doing anything wrong but also am not sure how to deal with it in regards to her. Any advice would be appreciated.

  • Wait, wait, wait.

Your son has not nursed in 8 months, but he continues to touch your breasts?

    Why?
    DS1: BFP 04/03/11 | EDD 12/02/11 | born 11/21/11
    DS2: BFP 02/09/13 | EDD 10/26/13 | said goodbye 06/02/13
  • It's a comfort thing for him. It helps him go to sleep. He is starting to do it less then he used to but he is a very hands on child.

  • II think your son is old enough to taught privacy.  My 5 year old daughter attempts to touch my breasts because she thinks its funny.  I tell her that's private and she may not touch me there.  There's nothing wrong with teaching kids about appropriate touching or having personal boundaries

This. OP you should probably find a different way for your son to find comfort.
