Cerclage Question

I had my cerclage put in at 14 weeks. I am now 34 weeks and i would like to know if anyones water broke while there cerclage was still in? And what happened? Or did your doctor take out your stiching prior to your water breaking? I spoke to my cousin who also had a cerclage and she said that her doctor took out her stiching at 36 weeks when the baby was full-term because if her water broke with the stiching in and the baby starts to come down it can badly rupture her cervix if the stiching rips. Sorry for this long post but i was just curious because when i spoke to my OB at my last appt he never said anything about taking out my stiching early. He just said that if i dont have the baby by 39 weeks he will induce me. I'm a FTM and just want to know what will be happening when i go into labor because i like to prepare mentally.

You'll likely have it taken out at 37-38 weeks. Just remind your doctor at your next appointment.
