Anyone one else with husbands in the oilfield? Work has been so slow for my hubby, and it has been really hard to stay positive. Trying not to stress but failing!!!

I used to work in the oilfield. I was a Wellsite Geologist. I know A LOT of people are being laid off or having longer and longer breaks between hitches. I'm sorry you're going through this right now. It's been rough on a lot of people. Good luck to you guys!

I just left watford city and I know things are tough for some people in certain lines of work. Hopefully things will level out soon.

I live in West Texas and a ton of my patients are oilfield. It's been slow for them too but I know things are picking back up! I think about all of these families frequently. Hope things pick up for your husband too!

My husband is an electrician (industrial) and was working in northern Alberta until the layoffs in December. He's now doing commercial work.
It's a tough time for everyone right now.
