Can your water break while peeing?

Ok ladies, this may be a stupid question, but is this possible?? (TMI alert) so I sat down to pee and i thought I was done, as I was about to stand up another gush came out...it didn't really feel like pee but I'm not having any contractions. Has this happened to any of you?

Yes it can. With my first my water broke on the potty after I finished peeing. I didn't feel any contractions until 3 or 4 hours later. If concerned, call your doctor....the have test strips that can tell if its your water or not. Also, if yorvwater broke, you will feel constantly wet. Good luck.

Yes, this happens to me frequently after using the bathroom, and it wasn't my water breaking. Now I'll sometimes stand up & sit back down to make sure my bladder is completely empty.

Could be your water breaking, could be pee.

Yes! This happened to my mom with my brother and she didn't notice, It turns out she had to have a C-section with him.

That is what happened to me! I went to the doctor and had the test strip done and I was immediately admitted into the hospital. I had my daughter that day !

I've had that happen to me a few times now actually.
After talking to my doctor about it last Friday at my appointment and him checking me to feel for gushing or anything, he said my water hadn't broken yet and it was probably just my bladder emptying all the way.
Talk to your doc. That's your best option
