rash on stomach

I am 6w 3d pregnant, and I've had a small, raised rash right above my belly button for about 3 weeks now. The raised areas are hard, if that makes sense. The itching is driving me nuts! Has anyone else experienced something like this? I'm not too concerned, just curious as to what it is exactly.

Doubt it's shingles, that will appear on one side of your body, not down the middle like OP described. Plus shingles is painful, which was never a symptom expressed.

Probably more likely contact dermatitis as your skin becomes more sensitive during pregnancy. Definitely talk to your doctor about it though. It's not normal to have a rash for that long.

I've had pityriasis rosea since 3 weeks. Itches like crazy!!! Looks like... Flat ringworm with dry skin?? It's something pregnant women can get because our immune system is suppressed I think.....

I've had something similar on both of my shins for about a week now. It comes and goes but man it's itchy! I had this same rash during my last pregnancy and like you it was on my stomach. I believe my doctor gave me Loratadine and it worked wonders. So soothing. Also, I make a homemade cocoa butter lotion that feels really good on my itchy skin.

I had a crazy rash on my stomach with my first pregnancy and the drs never figured it out it took about 3 months to go away.

I just now saw everyone's posts! I'm not sure why- I thought I'd get notifications. Anyways, thanks for your input! I see my OB on Friday. It isn't getting worse, but it's not getting better either.
