pregnancy rash.

I had it for a week went to my obgyn today they said it was common. I got a itchy blotchy rash on my chest. They gave me cream for it. But they didn't tell me if it was pupps or not so I'm confused. Who else has been dealing with this unfortunate annoyance?

Blotchy doesn't sound like pupps. I thought it was generally raised bumps. I had it post partum. Horrible, horrible itching. I think they'd let you know if that was what they suspected. I'd follow up with docs if it doesn't go away or gets worse. I had a chest and stomach rash earlier this pregnancy but thought it was sun related. Happened to have routine appointment and OB said to get checked within 2-3 days for all future rashes, some concern with liver related complications that present in a rash. Good to know as I wouldn't have gone in. Hope you feel better quickly.

I got a form of eczema when I was pregnant with my daughter all over my chest and belly.  I put Cerave cream on it at night for a few days and it got significantly better.  Eucerian is also a good cream to try.  You can find them at Target usually.  Good luck!

Its going away. Didn't hardy use the cream so its all good. Just creeped me out a bit.

I do have a messed up liver so that could be the cause.
