Vera Eviana. I have had such a hard time deciding, but I think this is finally it. I wanted unique, not in the top 100, without any family names. I kept sharing my choices with family and friends and realized it was making it harder for me to decide bc of judgements. This one I am keeping to myself until she is born!
I love Vera! I couldn't get DH on board with me. It means "truth"!
Reading some of these names made me lose hope for humanity. I really hope those were jokes. For those of you who chose good names....awesome. Your children will appreciate that. I like Cameron Elijah.

Here's the thing though @rsalata .... Everyone thinks their name IS a good name!
Amina Angel. My husbands name is Angel. With no sons I felt it was only fair he got to share his name. Our first liytle girl got my middle name. We've been pretty set on the name since we found out we were pregnant. We had a boy name and a girl name already chosen.
We chose Daisy from a list of Victorian names, and looked up the meaning after. It means "Day's Eye" or "Pearl" and is a derivative of Margaret, from the French word for the flower, Marguerite.
My name, Megan, also means pearl.
My mother's name was Margaret, and she died unexpectedly last May.
We chose Audreigh Renea. Renea is after my mother. No one in the family likes the first name, especially the spelling. I changed my sons name completely because no one liked it but that's not happening this time.
I have always loved the name Claire, and my DH chose Ada, she was the first programmer (he is a computer programmer and liked the idea of her having that name)
We were going for Brielle Maggielynn if it was a girl (Maggielynn is after my bff) For a boy we wanted Greyson Miles but my SO's uncle passed away so we decided to use his name so our sons name will be Greyson Charley
Graham Frederick for this LO. We named my daughter Charlotte Isabelle. Both middle names are the first names of DH'S grandparents. We're into traditional, not trendy.

DH picked out Isabel and mom picked out Nicole. I couldn't make up my mind so I think we are going with both. I've found it difficult to pick out a name since our last name is an noun and don't want anyone to poke fun at her. I also want it to be easy to spell and easily said in both English and Spanish. I'd hate it if people were always misspelling or mispronouncing her name or if she had to explain her name to anyone...she'll have enough of that with her last name.
Is that your family company? Or what is your attitude about such a common name? Not trying to be snarky, just genuinely curious about your thought process here. This is one of many names on this thread that fascinate me.
Kimberlyn Marie. Kimberly/ kim is mother n laws name and Marie is sis n laws middle name (she passed away 4 years ago) My 3 older daughters middle names are other family members names or middles names as well. So we had to keep it going!

Oh, man, if that was her family company . . . ! I'm guessing just hasn't heard of it, either because there isn't one near her, or not from the US/Canada. I thought the same thing, though!
Layla Lee our DD got a doll and Layla was her name and we had never heard of it and loved it and kinda stuck with it. Lee is mother in laws middle name.
