I notice that my nipples smell. Why is this? Its not like I don't shower or clean off. I noticed the smell on DS after feeding him. Is this bad? Sorry, gross I know!
I have no idea what it could be, but I'm going to ask my doctor or LC to be sure it's nothing as well. I've tried using Google to find info, but I haven't had much luck.
I'm pretty sure it's just from your breasts sweating. It's just a mixture of sweat and soured breast milk.
Well isn't that sexy! I feel a little bad that my baby's face smells like an NBA player's armpit when she's done nursing. Though I'm grateful it's only happening on one breast.

Lol! Apparently they don't mind it so much. It's what makes our milk taste (and smell) like us. From what the Bump tells me in my email, by something like 8 weeks or so our LOs can tell our milk from someone else's and prefers it. Think of it as a delicacy!
Re: Why do my boobs smell?
Yeah that is it. A cross between that and a sour smell. Its disgusting. I feel so nasty! I just want to be sure it isn't an infection.
