24 weeks prego and fell this am !

Hi all ! I'm 24 weeks preg and was walking the dogs this am.....well my graceful self rolled my ankle on a divit in the street and fell on my right side. I rolled the ankle, fell on my knees, my right palm slide on the pavement and then i felt my right side/abdomen on the ground. It wasn't a very HARD fall...but I fell none-the-less. I called my OB....said that if I was having any pelvic pain, cramping, bleeding or anything else abnormal to just call but I will see my doc for my regular appt on Tuesday. I feel fine (other than embarassed), no cramping, and I can feel baby kicking. Has this happened to anyone else?

yep. And Your Doc Is right. Just relax today and drink extra water.

I fell during 1st trimester, was fine. I was running and fell flat on the concrete. Baby was pretty cushioned in there. During my 2nd I actually got bit by a dog on another run. Baby is still fine.

Glad you're ok. I'm terrified of falling!

I tend bar and have fallen a couple of times, thanks to wet spots on the floor where we don't have the traction mats. In both the 1st and 2nd trimester. Worst thing that happened was that the last time I came down on broken glass and had to pick it out of my knee later. Shouldn't be a cause for concern unless there was cramping or bleeding as PP have said. They're pretty well insulated in there.

I've fallen over 15 times this pregnancy, once broke my elbow and tore my bicep muscle. Been fine, just make sure to pay attention to any abnormal symptoms afterwards.

Fingers crossed you are just fine luckily baby is very well protected in their own little personal bubble.
