And this is why we don't preview test results

So my RE told me the HSG looked good, while I was still on the table after the radiologist left the room. I could hear them discussing something on the scan right before that and I heard him say he saw "something" and I heard her say she thought it disappeared when the tech moved an instrument. So today I got notification that my results are available online and I went to look, thinking I might get to see the actual replay of the image just for fun.

The radiologist report says "Persistent 6 x 4 mm smoothly contoured, nodular filling defect in cervix, indeterminate, possibly a polyp. Consider correlation with ultrasound or MRI." Now I know the chances of that being anything serious are low but it's one of those things where I also know it is going to take up residence in the fear center of my brain until I know the answer for sure. It isn't even the possible polyp thing that is freaking me out. It is the indeterminate part. Why. Did. I. Do that to myself?

RE appointment on Tuesday.
