I've eaten a croissant for breakfast almost every day this week AND had a grilled cheese one day for lunch. Hubby would kill me if he knew as he really wants me to try to eat healthy but sometimes with the nausea/food aversions, I gotta eat what I crave and can stomach.
I've already taken 2 weeks off work due to crappy morning sickness. This baby is making me a complete zombie at the office, and I worry that it's affecting the quality of my work. Ugh
Some days I have to lie to my boyfriend about how much i really eat because he doesn't understand the concept of morning sickness. He just says you need to eat for the baby.
I told my boyfriend I felt sick the other day so I could stay home from work and I ate frosting from the jar all day. To be fair I really was sick the night before
My normally level headed and "smile through it" self has been sobbing every time I get into the car and yelling at my bosses when, you know... THEY CAN'T HEAR ME.
I've eaten Kraft Dinner two nights in a row this week because its the onlyyy thing I want. That and oranges. I just can't seem to find anything I want/can stomach. KD seems to do the trick.

same here. If hubby knew I wasn't eating that much except for carbs during the day he wouldn't be happy! He means well but he just doesn't get the nausea/food aversions and having to eat what I can stomach!
My nurse told me that if the only food I could keep down was a Big Mac that it's better than nothing She didn't recommend it everyday, but anything is better than nothing! I liked her right off the bat.....
I can't eat macaroni and cheese without being sick, but I love Mac and cheese, it's my comfort food....I've had it four times this week and just take the violent vomiting afterwards. I've also decided to be that parent who, when my child complains about chores later in life, goes you made me hate my favorite food so that's why.
I bought a fancy, healthy wrap for lunch, and had to throw it away after two bites. I ended up eating half a sleeve of Fig Newtons instead.
My husband has been pretty understanding about the fact that sometimes my only food options are junk or nothing at all, but I will not be telling him this story.
Omg thank you all for your confessions. I am so glad to know i'm not alone. Before getting pregnant I was super healthy, drinking green juices, all organic, whole foods and a very low carb diet. Now all I can eat is junk food, tbell, white refined carbs, fried food, soda and lots of sugar. I feel sooooo guilty but i prefer to eat that than nothing at all. I figure once the nausea goes away I will go back to eating healthy and balanced... I just can't right now
Between the last 2 days I ate an entire family size bag of old dutch pickle chips. I had a love for them before being pregnant. I'm just happy I still like them. I too have to lie to bf about what I eat.. He's actually already gaining baby weight and I feel really bad, but secretly laugh to myself.
Last Saturday all I could think of was Olive Garden! I wanted it sooo baaaad! When it came time for us to go, I suddenly had no desire for it and craved an ice cream float for dinner instead! Thankfully my bf humored me and we got stuff to make floats and that's what we ate for dinner.. it was amazing..No regrets! Hahaha

This is so me. I'd eat/drink stuff like salads, kombucha, smoothies, just lots of veggies and healthy stuff in general. Now I feel bad eating shit food 24/7 because I just can't stomach the other stuff. I'm hoping I can get back to healthy eating soon! I can't wait until grilling season. I eat way more veggies because everything tastes better on the grill!
I ate oreos for breakfast and dinner yesterday!! I haven't had oreos in yeeeaarrsss. (Today is National oreo day so we should be proud and pregnant and eat a whole sleeve of them without regret
All I want is carbs and fruit...I've had pizza 2x this week and will probably have it for dinner again tonight too...crackers, bread, cheese, all things I love and ordinarily don't eat a lot of, now it's all I eat. The thought of meat especially beef makes me feel incredibly sick...
I've had no desire to cook dinner the past couple weeks and even gave my kids cereal for dinner because I was too tired to cook. Oh and I drink at least 1 soda a day...still working on giving that up
This board is exactly what I needed today! Seems like the only thing I can stomach is sweets and carbs and it has me feeling so crappy about myself and that I am going to gain way to much weight this pregnancy! Glad to here others are in the struggle with me!
My confession: the other day I ate not one but 2 Arby's sandwiches and curly fries...I puked right after!
I live for Ruby Tuesday's salad bar and Taco Bell right now. I was doing a decent job cutting out caffine but had a venti white chocolate mocha frapp today after lunch.
Confession #1: I had Taco Bell twice the other day and had a horrible tummy ache that night. That cheesy gordita crunch changed my life along with this stupid frozen lemonade thing. Confession #2: I usually scarf down my food or wait til my toddler takes a nap so I don't have to share #3: I tried salad again this week ... Can only manage 3 bites... Carbs are just better.
I figured I would have nausea and food aversions. I just didn't expect such a decreased appetite and being so uninterested in food! Most of the time food sounds horrible and I have to force myself to eat. And then it can only be what I'm craving or I can't stomach it! Problem is most of what I crave is white carbs, salt and cheese....which is not helping my constipation problem! If I eat what I should, I feel so sick. If I eat what I want, the constipation is worse! That misery & pain of that issue plus no interest in food is making me feel so off! I normally I love food - looking at recipes, Pinterest, food network, cooking. I can't do any of it
I bought bread and cereal for the first time since October... And I still drink a can of Coke every day. I'd rather eat out then stand in the kitchen and smell food, even though I haven't been that nauseous yet.
@mamaowl15, I have a bag of frozen chocolate chip cookie dough in my freezer and have made and eaten like 2 cookies every night before I go to bed. It is the only thing that sounds good at night.
Today was white cheddar Mac n cheese. Annie's organic brand, but Mac n cheese nonetheless.
I honestly don't even care what is it I'm eating, as long as it's carbs. Bread, crackers, cake, croissants, chips, fries, pasta, waffles... Anything nutritionless that is made of white flour, I probably want to eat it. Seems to keep the nausea down, plus all the yummy snack foods are carbs.
Finally at 10w starting to feel better (enough) to sneak some kombucha and greens into me today. Can't wait to start putting real food back into my body!
Re: Confessions
I took a sick day from work and decided I will lay around and watch trash TV all day.
