Unique modern boy names

I'm at a complete lost for a boys name. I want something unique and modern but can't think of anything I remotely like. I hate classic names, and names that are too popular. My husband likes Jax, but to me that name is just ok. Any suggestions?

  • Unique and baby name usually doesnt end well.

  • Lol Jax is about as ununique as you can get.

  • Modern names that aren't trending?! That is tough! But when you hear the right one, you'll know :) I think we'll need a better idea of what you're looking for! What are names that you do like and we can suggest similar names? Good luck!

I agree with PPs, I do not like Jax...it's trendy, it's overdone, it's not that attractive. Unfortunately most "unique" names are trendy. Almost none of these are my style but hopefully it'll help.

If you dislike names that are too popular, stay far away from Jax...
  • I have about 6 friends that have all named their boys jax, jaxson, or some other form of Jax. It is overly popular right now. I always loved the name Jack but wouldn't even go there right now as it's just to close. A unique modern fav of mine would be Nixon.

I don't think there's anything unique about Tricky Dickey.

Problem is Op, A lot of the "modern" names are very popular. You're asking for a unicorn.

    So. Suggestons that might work

Zebulun (Actually an old biblical name, but not common and Z makes it "modern")
    Zephyr
    Kai (actually pretty popular)
Cain (Another old name that "sounds" modern)
Garen (short form of an Armenian name)

  • I still hate all the names you guys are suggesting, this is way harder than I thought...

    What DO you like?

I mean, I get not being decisive about a name, and being picky, but lord girl, do you like anything?
  • JAX is a name for a pitbull.

    Ace
    Nash
    Hudson
    Kingston
    Jett
    Jace
    Kash

I don't really like any of the names I've suggested but they all kind of go in the " JAX" category in my opinion.
