Well mine are all ridiculous and from family...prior to finding out the sex he was Cletus the fetus (my sisters) and my grandma still calls him Humphrey. We aren't announcing the name until he's born so everyone calls him "he" or baby Klein for now.
DH calls it 'tripod' because you can clearly see what was left of the 'tail' between their legs at our dating us, haha. I usually call it whatever the fruit of the week is.
His name is Alexander but when we saw his 20 week sono he had a big round belly so his nickname right away became lil Buddha. Daddy and I think he is perfect and with that belly Buddha was the first that came to mind. (One of my favorite men of religion).
We havnt found out gender, so we have been just saying baba. After our 20 week scan, baby was so different and bigger, my partner called him/her beefcake
Shortly before conceiving I got a coat that makes me look like Paddington bear and my husband and family jokingly started calling me that. So, when we became pregnant, our little one got nick named "Baby Paddington."
Before finding out the sex, we called the baby Max bc we both like the name but knew we wouldn't use it as a baby name. Once we found out it's a girl, our family calls her Maxine. But we use her name that we picked out but haven't shared it yet. DH also calls her "Squidge" as a cute nickname. Hoping that will stick
Raspberry really stuck from the fruits or rasp-baby. Also honey bee. When we found out he was a boy DH felt raspberry was too feminine. My sister has always called it Harry who know why. My mom calls him acorn because that was our birth announcement (acorn in a box adding another nut to our family tree). Now we sometimes call him the names we are considering just to see how it feels...I think he is Benjamin/Benny but not 100%
We are having twins and my fathter in law is Italian and he calls them Zucchini and gugutza. They are boys but we haven't agreed on names yet so I just call them peanut and sweet pea.
Until we find out the sex we're calling it Blueberry. (The size it was when we found out) if it's a girl she'll be Danica aka Danni and if it's a boy he'll be Jonathan aka Jonny.
We started off calling them Thing 1 & Thing 2. Then we had an u/s and found out where each was camping out, so we knew who was A and who was B. Now we just call them that - A & B.
