Okay, I normally try to avoid fast food...but I had a long day at work I feel extremely weak and tired and I flat out didn't care to be healthy. I don't eat meat on Fridays be cause of lent, so I thought filet o fish from McDonald's why not? I know they use Pollock fish which is low in mercury....so I had two sandwiches and then it dawned on me tarter sauce! I had a miscarriage in December, so naturally I over analyze everything now and I'm thinking "omg what did I just do?"...okay rant over. Anyone else know if these are okay?

The latest articles are saying that the benefits of eating fish out way any risks from mercury. . . if that means a filet-o-fish is healthy, doubt it. . . I had a weak moment and got a the pacific cod sandwich from Wendy's. Was heaven and so worth it :)

U will be ok. I was at my doc the other day and a girl asked if it was ok to eat a cod sandwich which is actually high. He said one wasn't a big deal.

I too had the 2 Fillet o Fish combo for lunch today :)

I'm not even religious but I love Lent because I can get a fish sandwich and know that it's fresh and I don't have to pull forward and wait.
