If I had it my way I would have a calzone at every meal but I'm still eating salads, eggs, orange juice, fruit smoothies, bagels with cream cheese some days. My biggest splurge has been ice cream, can't seem to get enough dairy products lately.
I work overnights so at 3 in the morning for the past few days I have been wanting nothing but chocolate snack packs (pudding), hot cheetoes, chocolate milk, and a Cesar salad lol and in the evenings I only want one of those round oven party pizzas and v8 veggie and juice blend to drink. When my fiancé gets on to me about eating better I'll eat a green apple but I'll sneak and drizzle caramel on the slices...he always catches me though...
i had 2 potato egg and cheese tacos for breakfast, then my boss bought us subway shortly after for lunch, didn't eat all of my buffalo chicken sandwich but i just got done stuffing my face with v-day candy i still had! sweethearts -_-
I felt disgusting last night because I gave into ALL of my cravings for the first time. I had lasagne AND nachos AND ice cream. Went to bed feeling like shit, like a stuffed sausage, and definitely trying to do better today. Overeating just feels gross, I'm realizing, even when I'm pregnant.
I WANT every unhealthy thing I can think of! Curly fries, peanut m&ms, wavy Lay's with French onion dip, fried pickles, hush puppies, pizza, hashbrowns, jelly beans, girl scout cookies, etc, etc. So far I've only caved and gotten curly fries, hashbrowns, and peanut m&ms. At least I've been eating lots of fruit?!
I have really been struggling to eat healthily during this pregnancy, and my husband keeps reminding me that I only get one chance to feed this little bean well while she's in utero! Which is true, but it also makes me feel guilty and sad that I'm not eating pristinely like I always thought I would while pregnant.
One way I've gotten myself to eat veg is by cooking the veg rather than trying to eat salads which make me gag right now. Tonight, I oven roasted some eggplant, onions, bell peppers, mushrooms, and carrots, and then ate them in a warm, whole wheat pita pocket with hummus. It was actually quite delicious since the oven roasting brings out the sweetness in the veg. It felt so good to break my trend of refined carbs (bagels, bagels, and more bagels!).
BTW I'm jealous of all of you saying Chipotle. We don't have many in Canada and the closest one to me would require me going to the US and driving 45 mins... Poor honey of mine may need to cross the border tomorrow. Joys of living in a border city
I ate pretty healthy before pregnancy and I still eat a pretty balanced diet....but we have a candy basket at work.....I can't resist. I also have been eating oatmeal or a cereal for breakfast...I haven't eaten cereal in years, until now, due to the sugar content but I try to keep it somewhat healthy. I don't love oatmeal but it's something quick I can eat so I don't skip breakfast and feel as if I'm starving my baby. My husband is military and we are currently apart so I am living at my parents and my dad brought home all these sweets... the glazed doughnuts were driving me insane.....I knew they wouldn't even be that satisfying but I caved a few times just so I could stop thinking about them. I ate grahm crackers with marshmallow cream a few times. Polished off an entire jar of pickles in only a couple days. I've always liked spicy foods but I feel like I'm craving them even more now. I don't usually eat bagels but I had thought about them a bit lately.....and after this thread may give in to some. I've also craved chicken and dumplings and chicken noodle soup, thai food, shrimp, grape fruit, watermelon...and and now I want salmon patties. And I eat a lot of clementines and bannanas.
Oh and I'm super picky about my water. I have to put in the freezer a little bit because I can't stand it just cold and I can't stand to put ice cubes in it. I let it get a little slushy and it's SOO good, but I get pissed when I forget about it and it is a frozen block.
Cinnamon jawbreakers and lemon heads to get that horrible taste out of my mouth...sour candy (blue sour belts!!!!), TACOS, shredded lettuce, bagels, Jazz apples and grapes with the seeds.
The grapes without seeds are disgusting right now but the seeded grapes are everything right now!
Used to drink TONS of water. Now, it's super tough. Grapefruit La Croix and diluted blue Gatorade are my hydrants.
My stomach has been acting up for weeks. Baby apparently really likes fresh salad (with a amazing garlic vinaigrette), fruits veggies, nuts, cheeses, yogurt, and big salty pretzels. Every now and then I get weird cravings for things like beef jerky, spicy cheese-its, cherry pie (so good!), tacos, and doughnuts. But if I'm not craving it and it isn't a basic food, it doesn't stay down for long. *Shrug* I'm apparently a binge junk food eater.
Life cinnamon cereal....every morning and before bed. Yogurt covered raisins and of course anything spicy and Mexican food. No chicken. My body just won't taste/smell chicken without getting sick.
I was craving spaghetti and meatballs so DH made it for me. He undercooked the meatballs and we both got food poisoning :-(. Luckily, this was weeks ago, and he, I, and LO have since recovered thank God.
Lots of starches, apparently. I'm addicted to them right now! Pasta and Baked Potatoes have been my love, and they've not been overdoing my hips, either... So apparently it is what I need. But dang. During the day I snack on saltines and ginger ale, which oddly enough, in addition to all the water I drink during the day, are keeping my blood sugar balanced, and keeping me hydrated.
Re: What cha eating...no judgment.

The ONLY thing I can eat for breakfast these days is those fruit flavored packs of instant oatmeal.
I'm loving strawberries, pudding cups, baked potatoes with butter, cheddar cheese and sour cream, orange juice & Chinese food.
Also, you said, no judgment, so here we go, chicken in a biskit crackers with American squeeze cheese in a can. Yes, I'm sorry.
BUT, at least I'm eating. I think I nearly starved to death with my first one, so I'm just thankful I have an appetite for anything.
