Skin issues. ..PMD ??

I had to stop using RetinA once i became pregnant which has caused a lot of my skin issues to flare back up 
I've been looking into the PMD (personal microderm device) and really want to buy one. My question is has anyone else used this while pregnant ? I don't see it being dangerous as it just basically buffs off layers of skin but my skin is more sensitive because of pregnancy so I'm wondering if i should just wait until after my LO comes to buy one ?

Also, is it vanity that makes you want to use it, or pain? If the latter then you should of course explore different options to help. The former would make me more cautious.
I hope you find some relief either way!
