when do I test?

So my last regular period was the first week of January, I then had a couple days of very light bleeding late January that I thought at the time was a period. It is now almost the end of February and I think I might be pregnant. My periods have never been regular so I'm not sure when I should take a pregnancy test since I'm not sure if I have actually missed my period.
