No nursery for me Baby's sharing our room for the first few months until we move to a bigger place. We've got a mini crib set up, and space set aside for all of her adorable little clothes in the closet. We aren't going to use a changing table - just a changing pad that is easily moved from room to room. I'm so envious of everyone with their painted walls and decorations!
We are trying to sell our house so we did a less complicated version of what we wanted. Once we sell/buy our new house we will do exactly what we want but I love our temp Nursery! Here's just the crib and bedding we have everything but waiting for our glider
Ours is coming along slowly but surely. We were fortunate to have most of the bigger items passed down from my brother and sister in law including he crib, glider and change table (which used to be white but we painted to match the rest of the furniture). My mother in law is re-upholstering the glider cushions and also making us curtains, hence their non-existence. Here's what we've got so far (we don't know what we are having, so we went with fairly gender neutral colours). We are hoping to fill the room a bit more after target puts their items on further markdowns
Finally getting things together but my crib is still stuck in New Jersey, I know she won't "need" it right away but there's just something about the crib that completes the room:(

Hi...where did you get the blanket??? I was making a car seat cover exactly like it and may not be able to (need to sew it and haven't gotten the machine yet).
I had totally fallen in love with a bedding set for a crib at the store. Then I found out I couldn't use the pillow, the bumpers, or the blanket until DD was much older. Kinda ruined it for me. Ended up with a sheet on a mattress and a bed skirt.

You can always use the pieces around the nursery. I didn't buy a set per say this time but I did buy the accent pillow and quilt that go with the crib sheets that I picked out. The pillow is on my glider for additional arm support during breastfeeding (my arms would get sore leaning to one side on the arm of my glider with my first) and I plan to use the quilt when he does tummy time or plays on the floor. That way when he is old enough for a pillow and quilt for his crib I will have matching bedding. I ended up using the quilt from my daughters bedding set a ton.
Here is ours I did pink, white, and gold with some gray accents. I really wanted something soft and feminine. Baby is sharing a room with us for the time being.
Running a bit behind schedule but I only just received my Gary Taxau print today. Tomorrow we will bring up the dresser and change table that we've painted in high gloss jet black. By next week an entire wall will be covered in art that my hubby and I picked up while travelling in Europe and just had framed. Watch this space.

Just wanted to stop by this thread and show off my baby girls mobile that I just finished making. I couldn't be happier with how it turned out. I was looking on etsy.com at similar mobiles... Showed a friend of mine one that I liked that cost $40+shipping... Her first response was are you kidding me?! You are crafty, I know you could make that for around $15! I thank her for taking me out of my laziness because I am so in love with it and it was so easy to make! And she was right! With tax everything I needed to make it ended up being less than $15 :x
Baby's room has been a work in progress for me and my favorite craft project for the past few months. I've made just about everything in the room myself from the crib quilt and skirt, decoupaging the changing table, sewing the foot rest, pillows, banner, name sign, stuffed animals, and mobiles. Just finished the mobile that will go above his changing table (not his crib, due to the small pieces- just in case). Almost done, just one more tall dresser to decorate! (Obviously, I am not the traditional pastels and baby blue person!)

So beautiful! I love your style. You did an amazing job on all of this.

Are these bedsets above with breathable bumpers? I think the ones that aren't breathable are banned in my state.
