Hi all im havn my 1st home birth. 3rd baby. Im due on the 16th feb. Im excited but scared has anyone had 1 before and hav any storys. X

    I had a home birth 12 days ago for my first baby. We had a water birth and I actually caught my little guy myself! I wouldn't have had it any other way. We prepared for a hospital birth as well not knowing how things were going to go or if I'd want drugs, but I can't imagine leaving my house at any point during labour. The environment was exactly how I wanted it to be, lights down low, soft music, my loved ones for support, being in my own bed with my husband and my perfect baby boy afterwards. Trust the process and your body, it knows what to do!
