for my DH to feel the baby kick when I could not? ?A few days ago I was sleeping and his hand was on my belly and he woke me up very excited saying "The baby is moving!" ?But I didn't feel anything! ?Was it his imagination/wishful thinking? ?

Unless your stomach punches itself out when you eat , he really could've felt it. My DH had his hand on my belly last night b/c the baby was moving and I couldn't feel every kick but he would get the biggest grin on his face every time out little man moved. Hang in there, you'll feel the LO soon enough!!
My Dh felt my Ds kick for the first time at 18.5 weeks, but I also felt it. Have you felt any movement? If so, maybe you were just sleeping to deep for it to wake you up.
I think it's possible... Babies usually move the most when the mother is inactive/sleeping, so you're likely asleep when the baby is moving the most anyway. But since your husband has no idea how to tell the difference between baby kicks and stomach rumblings (heck, sometimes we don't even know the difference!), he could've just been feeling gas.
My DH felt the baby move before I did. I was about 19-20 weeks and I was sound asleep. DH has really concentrating on feeling her move and he felt her kick - very very lightly - a few times. I was so out of it, I had no idea. I then felt her move about a week or so later.
Re: Is it possible...
Could be, but maybe you were in a deep sleep?
I would go ahead and let DH think he felt it from the outside if it makes him feel better. He will soon enough, anyway.

I think it's sweet he's so excited, though.
