  • Think I might have the record here...
    27.4 weeks
    30 lbs
    Twins
Was quite underweight when I got pregnant
  • 25 weeks and 7 lbs.
  • 28 weeks / 22 pounds
  • 8 pounds so far but i was overweight before which usually means you gain less. 4 of those were during the holidays!! Lolol my doctor was pleased there was no gain this month

  • With my first I gained 65 pounds. This time, I lost about 12 pounds fast before finding I was pregnant. Doc put me on metformin medicine to help with PCOS and it does horrible things to your stomach. I had only gained 3 pounds up until he took me off the metformin. After that I had gained a whopping 21 pounds and am 28 weeks.
  • I love this thread being that I just left my doctors office and got the "easy on the weight" speech. I'm not sure exactly how much I gained but I'm thinking I'm at the 25lb range at 27 weeks....he really made me feel like a fatty especially since I have working 2-3 times per week in addition to my very active job. So not sure what else I can do!!

  • I am 26 weeks-4 days and I have gained 20lbs so far!!
  • Week 26 : 22 lbs
  • Ok, I'm hating all of you. I'm 24 weeks and gained 30 lbs. I was 135 and 5'4" to start with and worked out allllll the time. Since I barely work out now, and my metabolism isn't that amazing, I'm not surprised. I still fit into size 6 maternity pants and medium shirts though, sooo yeah.

  • 26 weeks... 25 pounds... I can't believe I have gained this much weight- and I am still teaching aerobics 3 days a week!
  • Almost 25 weeks, gained 8 lbs.

Not sure what the normal gaining goal is. What is it? I know it's just an average, so I'm curious
  • 27weeks and I've gained 16lbs :D
  • I'm 24 weeks with twin boys and have on 15 total pounds so far pretty much all in the belly area
  • 26 weeks and I lost 14 at the beginning and have only gained 6 back.
  • 25 weeks with twins and 21 pounds as far as I know. :(
  • 25 weeks and I've gained 16 pounds.
  • 28 weeks and have gained 8 pounds, I hope thats normal! I was freaking ou as this is my first child but the doctor hasn't said anything and he's healthy so that's all that matters :)
  • 26 weeks & 60 lbs

  • I actually just discussed this with my dr last week. I was up 7 lbs from my normal weight when I found out I was pregnant, and I'm still at last appointment weighing that. My boobs did go 2 cup sizes in the first trimester though. 25 weeks 5 days
  • 28 weeks I have gained 6 pounds. With my DS I only gained 10. IT's a blood pressure thing before anyone starts hating on me! Well, that's what I assume it is anyway because I'm a bottomless pit. I hate that weight gain, or lack thereof, is something people feel they can comment on all the time openly. If you're pregnant and talking to another pregnant woman about weight gain, that's perfectly fine. People who aren't though are totally rude about it!

  • No weight gain whatsoever!!! Still at my pre-pregnancy weight.
  • I'm 28w4d and I've lost just over 20 lbs through my pregnancy. The doctor weighed me today and I've officially gained 2 lbs! Everyone is different.
  • 28 weeks today as of last appt was down 16lbs..dr has been fussing about gaining weight although had early diagnosis of GD so been on a strict diet. Go back tomorrow to see if there's been any gain.
  • 25 weeks gained four pounds so far. Was overweight beforehand though ;;)
  • 25 weeks with twins and gained 22lbs. Started at 106
  • 27 weeks, 18 lbs so far!
  • 28 weeks 50 lbs
  • 29 weeks and 24lbs. 1st trimester and beginning of 2nd trimester were my gaining times. I had such bad nausea all day long, it was all about what I could stand to eat along with Hypothyroidism, increased calorie intake (1200 before, 2000 now), and going from 6 days a week workouts to 2-3 a week. Not too worried about it though, hoping breastfeeding along with healthy eating, and regular exercising will get the baby weight off pretty quick.
  • I started out overweight, so I'm not supposed to gain too much. I feel like I've gained too much already, but I've gained 13lbs and I'm 27 weeks today.

  • at 28 weeks I've gained 26 pounds. Ugh! Hopefully I'll be better about watching myself
  • 25 weeks and up 28 lbs. Last weeks weight so I've probably hit 30 by now. Gained 20 my first trimester, I blame quitting smoking more than anything
