I'm 5 weeks pregnant with our second baby due October 5th. I had to have a C-section at 34 weeks with my first baby because I developed severe Preeclampsia and induction was making his heart rate drop. I'm praying for a healthier pregnancy this time, and hoping to have a VBAC. I don't want another C-section just because I've already had one. I've done the research, and that's not a good enough reason for me. Any other moms in the same situation? Would also love to hear VBAC success stories!
Meeeee! I so don't want another c/s either! Had one at 39 weeks. Natural labor started but my now 5 year old was positioned really badly. It was no fun! Good luck with your VBAC!!
I'm following to hear successful VBAC stories. I had an emergency c-section at 37 weeks with my son due to pre-e. I am torn between having a RCS or a VBAC, but there's a part of me that feels I missed out because I've never had a single labor contraction and I didn't make it to my due date before.
I honestly don't know. It all depends on the size of the baby. I have a very petite frame. My son was born at 8lbs2oz and couldn't pass because he was too big. We will see when the time comes.
Following this. I'm 6 weeks pregnant with my second. My son was born at 38 weeks via emergency c-section. My dr told me because he was in distress and the arch of my spine I needed the c-section and she recommended a c-section next time. I've actually switched drs and am curious what this new dr will say. DH wants everything scheduled lol. But I really hate to take the surprise out of it!!
I had a unscheduled c section with my first. I was in labor and my son was in distress. I am torn on what to do this time around. I agree on keeping it pristine at this point. whats the point in having a c section scar and stretched pelvic floor? Still unsure.
My daughter was breech, so I had a scheduled c-section with her. Honestly, I don't care how the baby gets here... I just want it to be healthy. Although, I would like to experience what labor is like (if that makes sense)
Re: Any second time moms trying for a VBAC?
I'd love to hear VBAC success stories.
