Skin color

When will my baby boy skin color settle in he is only 4 months an he stays in the house a lot due to the fact it's winter he gets no sun his how can I tell what his skin color will me everyone has been telling me the ears or his private those are both brown but his face his very light at times

Oh my goodness! HE IS GORGEOUS!! And my obgyn told me that their private and usually belly button is therir skin color (my little boy is mixed- white/indian and black)

So interesting to hear! My husband is Brazilian and darker skinned but our LO is pretty light complected like me. I'll have to check out those areas to see if there's a difference!

I don't think that is an indicator on what skin tone they will have though. Sometimes the area can get darker or lighter. And I think that the genitals and maybe belly button to all color children are darker? Maybe?

DH has the most wonderful olive like skin especially in the summer, I really hope DS takes after him. If he's like me he will be so pale he's almost see through and burn terribly in the sun (he already has my blonde hair and blue eyes so it doesn't bode well)

I have the same situation except DS has more reddish blonde hair. He seemed to be a light olive when he was born but now he has lightened up a bit. I'll be lathering him up with sunscreen come the summer I am not taking any chances.

I am as white as white can get and u have blonde hair blue eyes and burn even if I am in the sun for 10 mins. I really hope DD is not like that
